1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours golden just like all of the other asian beers Iíve tried. Not much head. Disappears quickly. More malt on the flavor than other Asian beers but nothing to get excited about. Watery and carbonated on the palate. It was o.k. to drink after doing some carpentry work tonight to quench my thirst, but as I guessed nothing good about this one really.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
From tap. Poured very light gold with about a finger of artificial looking head which disappeared pretty quick. Aroma - what aroma? My senses could have been a little attenuated as I was following the ABC Extra Stout, but all I could detect was a faint hint of vomit. Taste - what taste? Best that can be said is that it was not offensive. Someone has obviously beaten this tiger with a VERY large stick and turned it into a pussy cat. Palate was watery and weak. The ONE redeeming factor is that it goes down very easily in the tropical heat. This is nothing like the beer I remember 15 years ago.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Light, thin golden body with a thin, white head. Bland, boring aroma mostly of light malt and rather obvious adjuncts. The body is light, thin and unappealing. Flavors are nothing to speak of, mostly the malt/adjunct blend with a touch of mild hops at the finish. Not my go to beer when it Asia, to be sure.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle, pours a very plain pale lager color with small-nonexistant-head of white foam, looks synthetic. Awful aroma and flavor, tastes like water with malts and hops added, wait, thatís beer, this doesnít taste like that, no. Tis worse than beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled: Pour reveals a standard gold clear mega lager with a bubbly white cap ...minimal retention and lacing. Fizzy.
Reasonable aroma...some garins and grassy hops over a light fruit tone. Light bosy easily drinkable, fair balance between sweet malts and hops dry clean finish...this is a premium mega lager taste.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
500 ml can. Pale golden colour, thick lasting white head. Light pale malt aroma, soapy, almost no hop aroma. Bland dusty flavour with a bit of light malt. Not a whole lot going on in here... booooring.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A very attractive lager, clear gold with a firm white head..nice! Aroma is very fruity/hoppy with a nice maltiness in the background. The fruit carries over to the palate and the malt creeps in on the longish finish. I enjoy this and am quite surprised by the low overall rating, but thatís life I suppose.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml can. Golden pour, head is white with large bubbles and collapsing foam. Soft note of herbal hops. Light malt/grain mix with a little malt sweetness breaking through. Towards the finish light hops show up.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Canned. Golden beer with a thick white head, collapsing quickly. Nice perfumy aroma, rather fruity. Light sweetness. No hops, and light finish. Good bodied for an Asian lager.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
The faint and unremarkable aroma lacks any complexities more than hints of dish soap and Bud Light. The only true complexity of this beer is the perplexing manner by which it seems to entirely avoid the back of my tongue, leaving the tasting experience completely hollow. The major benefit of this SE Asian beer is that it does not get significantly worse as its temperature rises slightly. Itís goal seems to be neither to offend nor impress.
