Its probably cobra masquerading as another beer because i cant taste much difference at all. Not surprising really, boring plain lager int it.

Tastes like earwax and saccharine disolved in soda water. Undeservedly popular in many countries in Asia.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
The usual pale gold bubbly color you come to expect from these pale lager imports, short head filled with various sized bubbles, no lacing. Aroma is sweet and thin. Granular sugar sweetness with hints of green apple. So, hereís a beer from Singapore - thatís the most exciting part of it.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Sweet corn aroma. The flavour is more corn, some bittering hops. Thin watery palate. Not really that good.

Bottle (From Sainsburys, BBE Sep 06). No head - industrial cider look-a-like. Fruity funky high alcohol, green apple aromas. Sweet smelling. Sweet and yet at the same time thin body which draws attention to the over sweetness in a way a richer body would not. Unenjoyable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2006 Another bitter and sweet at the same time beer. It is nice, but a little tiring, not for a prty or a drinking session.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear pale yellow with a fully receding white head. Aroma of biscuit, corn, and sweet malts. Tastes lightly sweet, and noticably more drinkable than the average lager. Light bodied with high carbonation. Finishes very neutral. Iím sure thereís rice in here, but itís corn that Iím tasting. Pale lagers do taste quite similar across the globe, but Iím consistantly amazed at how much I prefer the Asian varieties.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Pale gold with disappearing white head. Smell of maize. Flavour is dull and awful. In fact I donít normally pour beer away but this was awful, so I did

Very classy packaging for this beer ,the label and 22 oz bottle look good.
The beer itself is pretty clean, simple lager in the German style. Pretty similar to Becks but with maybe just a touch more taste.
I actually, much to my surprise, found this quite nice and easilly drinkable.
