0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Re-Rate 05/14/02: Clear gold in color, a minimal white head and little lace. Nose is malt, the start is malt, the top thin, the finish is dry, acidic, moderate carbonation, some hops, but the quintessential example of why ’LAGERS SUCK’

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pleasantly suprising lager, tastes smooth and cloudy. Nice bottle and label. A good looker lager with nice fresh colour and a very pleasent aftertaste. A bottle to top off a chinese/ thai/ indian meal. Rather expensive, but worth it if your on a night out.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Unspectacular light gold appearance with an aroma that can only be described as that of a cold turkey sandwich with whiffs of oranges. Light malting underpins the taste of this delightfully smooth lager that is nearly perfect on the palate for this style. Thoroughly smooth, and having a malt spike, this a great find for an imported lager.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
For an Asian beer, this is not too bad. Far more flavour than e.g. Thailand’s Singha. I’ve never been to Singapore, but can imagine Tiger Beer would be great in the the tropical heat there. So leave the Singapore Gin Sling for the chicks - be a Tiger!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very well balanced, smooth and tasty. Had the luck to have both a bottle and canned versions. Both very close witht the bottle being a little more crisp.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2003 This is a nice dry lager, perhaps more suited to the Singapore heat than an English spring day. Still refreshing, though. Adendum, I must have been drunk! Points deduction!
