Pour from can, the liquid is clear gold in color. Head flattens very fast and itís only moderately fizzy. Body light and texture thin, it smells alcohol and tastes somewhat metal, bitter. It leaves a bitter aftertaste.

Poured from an 11.2 OZ bottle into a "Boulevard" Tulip glass. Aroma- almost non-existent, barely has a beer odor Appearance- this is a pale yellow color with a very weak head Taste- Not how I remember "Tiger" from my military experiences overseas. This brew is extremely weak flavored and has a faint hops flavor Feel- Highly carbonated, light bodied brew Overall- a complete disappointment! I have had this overseas many times in the 90ís and when I picked up a sixer of this I was hoping to relive some good times from years back. That is not the case, I am not sure if my palate has changed or the beer doesnít travel overseas very well when imported. But this beer has a world class bottle cap, very cool.

Bottle, 640ml. Straw colour with a decent white head. Aroma of musty hops with grass notes. Flavour is sweet with hops and lime. High carbonation. Refreshing and not bad at all.

Bottle at The Crutherland House Hotel. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of lemon, shortbread and straw. Flavour of sorrel, herbs and cereal. Thin body with a watery texture. Fizzy. Thereís not much to it but itís one of the least offensive macro Lagers.

33cl can @ home from a local supermarket. Body is clear pale golden, Head is very small, white, fizzy, fully diminishing, fair lacing. Nose is sweet watery, Aroma is metallic, light malty. Taste is medium sweet, hint of bitter. Finish is light watery bittersweet. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation. Easy, refreshing, boring.

Sampled on draught in a hotel in Shanghai. Typical lager in appearance, with a pale golden colour and a frothy white head. Malty and slightly floral aroma. The taste is slightly sweet, but quite pleasant, and well-balanced with floral, grassy hops. Much better than many oriental beers, possibly because it has a slightly higher ABV. A good hot-climate thirst quencher.

Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours clear golden with a modest white head and a mild floral aroma. There is a watery light malt flavor with little else. Might be refreshing on a hot day.

Whenever you visit Thailand (or South-East Asia), you wonít escape the typical Tiger logo. And having a Tiger at 33įC and a humidity above 90%, you will love this beer. Not only becoause itís served at nerly 0įC, but also because itís a refreshing beer. Sure, itís an "please everybody" beer, but that makes it pleasant to drink. The hops are there, but discrete, you can detect a light malty body and the carbonation is well balanced. This beer got several gold medals and there is nothing wrong with it. But donít look for a beer with character or complex taste - you will be dissapointed!
