Cask @ Bricklayers Arms, Yorkshire BF ’08. Light amber colour, good white head. Aroma is orange, spice, ginger. Taste is citrussy, spicy, cloves, slightly hoppy towards the end. Finish is a little sweet.

Golden coloured, decent white head, good condition. The well balanced orange and ginger aroma with some good hoppage unfortunately does not follow on in the mouth. Too citric and lacking the malt or hop character to carry it. So so.

Probably my favourite beer of the weekend, and good to drink it with Gavin.
In great condition, I’d go out of my way to drink this again.

Feb 24, 2008 Cask @ Bricklayers Arms, Putney Fest 2008: Aroma is of orange, ginger, spice, citrus really nice and warming. Pours an opaque yellow/amber beer. light bodied. Taste is citrus hoppy with some sweet maltiness.
