Commercial Description:
Cask, Occasional;
Tiger Tops is tiny even by micro-brewery standards. The master brewer "Axeman" produces just 3 barrels of excellent beer per week, most of which is drunk in local specialist pubs. No two pints of "axeman" brew ever taste the same so you'll just have to keep trying another.

Cask @ Bricklayers Arms, Yorkshire BF ’08. Light amber colour, good white head. Aroma is orange, spice, ginger. Taste is citrussy, spicy, cloves, slightly hoppy towards the end. Finish is a little sweet.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at the Bricklayers.
Golden coloured, decent white head, good condition. The well balanced orange and ginger aroma with some good hoppage unfortunately does not follow on in the mouth. Too citric and lacking the malt or hop character to carry it. So so.

Bricklayers Putney Beer festival 2008. Probably my favourite beer of the weekend, and good to drink it with Gavin. In great condition, I’d go out of my way to drink this again.
