COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Irie is a malty and complex India Pale Ale. Named for the Jamaican word “Irie” meaning “good, excellent, great or of good quality”, or "the state of feeling great, no worries", this beer is all of those and more. With an original gravity of about 1.070, the malt profile provides a sturdy backbone for the generous amount of Simcoe, Centennial and Columbus hops. American Ale yeast ferments this beer cleanly allowing the dank hop qualities to come through in all their glory… IRIE Mon!

Very hoppy taste. Pours a cloudy golden hue. Aroma has a citrus smell to it, possibly lemon or orange. No alcohol presences with this beer. A very well balanced IPA

Poured cloudy orange with a huge, quickly fading off white head. A nice piney, citrus aroma. Not as hoppy as most IPA’s, but a bit more malt forward. A nice brew from a local Illinois brewer.

Poured from a 22oz bottle from Kaser - thanks! Aroma - Orangy - some dankness...not too tropical Appearance - hazy golden pour with 2 fingers of fluffy head. Taste - I feel like I’ve had this taste before...nothing unique about it. Overall - good beer, not great. The ratings on this beer are accurate.

22oz bottle. Pours dark orange with a foamy white head. Aroma is of juicy hops, and that’s about it. Smells very soapy. Taste is of juicy bitter hops for about a second. When that second is up, there is nothing. Just a quick bitter hop taste. Very disappointing. Smells great, but nothing much after that.

Pours orange with 1 finger wide head. Smell pines and hops. Feel is light with medium carbonation. Taste is that of a good hop. Nice bitter hops. Aroma and taste hoes well together. Not an extraordinary IPA but I can have it again! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Deep amber with a big khaki head. Dank, resiny hops, caramel and pineapple. Taste is pretty sweet but balanced with a big hoppy finish. Body is heavier with a sticky, foamy feel.

ARH (776) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 10, 2014
UPDATED: AUG 11, 2014 On tap, poured into a sampler glass. The aroma is a citrus sweet and warm caramel blend. It pours a light yellow-orange, oily clear body topped by a soapy white head with a thick ring retained. The surface is covered by a generous island of foam and it leaves a good amount of web-like lace. It’s highly bitter with a light/medium-light sweetness. There’s lots of soft carbonation to go with a light oily texture. The medium full body finishes with sweet citrus, and a herb spice, along with a touch of caramel. There’s a light, lingering resin and citrus aftertaste.

Draught, pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a big creamy off white head that leaves rings of lacing down the glass. Wet piney hop aroma. Big floral sweet hop flavor and nice bitterness.

A very hoppy ipa with a malty finish. Super bitter and pours a nice deep orange red in color. Had after a half miler ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is almost a "session" ale, as even though it is a true IPA, I found it very drinkable. It was not over wrought with hops, but yet the strong presence was there. It had a fuller flavor than some IPA's , and I drink many. Obvious malt characteristics, which I happen to like. Overall, one u intend to drink more of. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
