3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a dirty dark brown with off white head. This is not a style I’ve drank a lot, but I was a bit fan of this sampling. Nose and taste roasted barley and nobble hops. quite tasty.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Glass of a growler from the brewpub for my other brother’s 40th. Pours brownish brown with a foamy tan head. Some lacing. Aroma has chocolate with some grapes. Taste is of chocolate, both hint sof milk chocolate and bittersweet chocolate with some oatmeal. Smooth and tasty. Not real deep. Finishes a bit short, but somewhat sweet and smooth. Nice!

Opaque black with a off white head. Roasty aroma. Taste is lightly sweet with chocolate notes and a dry, roasty, slightly sour finish. Decent schwartzbier.
