A: The pour is a light amber color with a finger of off-white head. S: Initially there is some nice toasted malt aromas with even a light roast. However, then there is a smell of cough syrup (cherry flavor) and...grapes? Fairly sweet, overall. T: Slightly acidic with a little bit of roast and a fair amount of toast. A bit of paper/cardboard flavor to it, too. Light hop flavors and little to no bitterness. Some light yeast and sweetness. M: Light in body with a medium level of carbonation. O: While this had more flavor to it than the Light, it was not necessarily good flavor.

Bottled. A red-brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, metal, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry metallic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

As part of a variety pack at World Market. This is quite unexpectedly good. Very nice. Wish this was available as many places as Corona. Serving: Bottle

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2014 Bottle, 355ml. Clear mahagony with a small, fluffy light-brown head. Watery roasted aroma, with hints of spices and dry fruits. Rich and smooth, but ultimately lacking in flavour, too watery, shame. Low bitterness, but with a great roasted finish. Maybe this was all there was in 2005, but these guys better start producing to a higher standard, or risk getting run out of the market by better brewers.

Nice beer this, but a little watery, very aromatic, but although a little smoky it was perhaps incipit. I expected a little more.

12oz bottle 4/2/09 (Binny’s Naperville)-Pours a dark brown with a small covering for a head. Aroma of roasted malt. Taste of the same with a bit of hops and caramel thrown in. This medium bodied brew is quite tasty and better than I expected.
