Courtesy of FlacoAlto. Aroma is dry, mellow chocolate accented malt. Slightly bready with some faint camael notes and an even fainter sugar/fruit sweetness. Body is a dark amber and the head is a thumb thick and bubly. Said head also fades quickly. some chocolate/caramel malt notes, mild roast notes. Leaves some nutty/toasty flavors in the finish. Light and crisp feel in the mouth and very quaffable.

Very pleasantly surprised by this one. Kind of a Negra Modelo clone, which I like very much. Some dark roasted maltiness, nutty and molasses-like, very interesting and refreshing.

Bottle: poured dark ruby/brown with a small tan head which disappeared quickly. Aroma is lightly malty with a touch of hops. A little fruit in the nose as well. Flavor is mostly malt. Lightly sweet. Lightly roasty. Finish is crisp. A nice beer.

Rödbrun öl med ett lätt beige skum. Doft av smörkola och mörkt socker. Maltig smak med en nötig beska. Något tunn.

On draft at O’Briens. Beautiful bright, burnt sienna color when held to light, small beige head. Toasty-sweet malts, floral and hoppy notes with a bit of earth and wood. Malty with a nice crisp tartness, toasty with bitter herbal notes, nicely balanced with hints of burnt caramel as well. Medium body, getnly tingly carbonation.

Pours clear brown w/ an amber hue and almost no froth. Aroma of coffee bean, cooked fruit, and malted leather. Light nectar w/ residual effers. Flavors are dry w/ coffee bean, charcoal, leather, brown sugar, and fruity malt. Finish has a slight bittering. I enjoyed it. Not so rich and easy to drink. Don’t worry about the water =)

Malt hop aroma. Clear brown/red ??? colour with poor head and lacing. Bitter malt flavour. Fizzy palate. Not what I was expecting.

5 Mar 06 - Fruit malty aroma. Red-brown colour (not what I’d expect from a Cerveza), low head and lacing. Light fruity malt and roastiness. A sharp malty finish.

Bottled bought at Holiday wine cellar. Nice dark brown pour, minimal head, Sweet mouthfeel, no real taste of burnt malt...some slight roasted flavor, but more on the caramel side, easy drinking, quality brew, very enjoyable!
