COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tikka Gold a quality premium beer brewed with patience using malt, rice, hops, yeast and spring water. A Pilsner style with Indian character having a good balance of dryness and bouquet of hops and a soft malt character to complement spicy foods.

Bottle. Poured a medium sized white fizzy head that mostly diminished, lackluster lacing, minimal carbonation, transparent, and a pale yellow hue. Nose was skunky and rice smelling. Flavor was weak-mildly malty, rice, and somewhat astringent tasting. Smooth mouthfeel. Light body. Not impressed by any means.

Pours pale golden and clear. Aroma is somehow disgusting. Taste is mild, grassy and boring.

Hazed straw color with a taller eggshell colored head. Decent lace. Sweet malt cereal and a dry weed/herbal aroma. Dry malt flavor in the start that sweeten slightly though the quaff. Light floral flavors come out in the finish and a mild pepper bite in the linger. Some cardboard in the linger as well. Perhaps a brew for indian food, but there are many lagers like this that would suffice.

From a stubby 500 ml. euro brown bottle with a coded freshness date on the back label. Poured a clear euro lager golden with a foamy, fluffy white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing, small amount of ringed sticking. Aromas of cereal grains, yeast and a little grassiness. Good, if slight fizzy, carbonation and a softly crisp, smooth light bodied mouthfeel. Bland and boring taste, sweet neutral rice malts, cereal grains that have a slight metallic edge to them, a light spicy, grassy hoppiness and a dry rice and grassy finish. I didn’t care too much for this lager, but I guess if want to cleanse your palate while eating hot and spicy Indian food, this would do the trick, but so would ice water with a slice of lemon in it. This cost me $4.50 at a Indian/curry restaurant on Delmar St. in U-City/St. Louis.

Bottle. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light "generic lager" aroma. Sweet malt/grain flavor with some underlying earthy/floral hops.

(500ml bottle) Medium white head atop a clear pale straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, mild, cereal, rice. Taste is medium sweet, rice, some cereal, light grassy/spice. Watery light body. Fool that I am, I saw "Belgian" and bought it -- why the heck is a Belgian Pale Lager being imported when there are dozens of great beers from there unavailable in the States?!

Bottle. Poured light hazy pale color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Light sweet grainy aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Light sour flavor with a light sour finish of short duration. I would not recommend this to freind.

Bottle: What can one say?? As if the market for lame, golden lagers wasn’t cornered here’s another. There’s nothing new; clear pale gold with a big flffy white head. Slightly spicy metalic corn aroma, but maybe I’m just imagining things because there really isn’t much in this department. Predictably the flavour is similar - weak, decocted malt flavours with a touch of spice in the background. Yawn... Thankfully the Indian food I had ordered arrived not long after I started this. The Aloo Chop was particularly excellent. mmm :-)

This beer is not worth the money needed to obtain it, it’s tates is like that of miller highlife’s minus the potato chips.

Pours a two finger white head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Slight hoppy nose. Starts slightly hoppy and stays that way, mild flavored, could make a good session beer but not as good as their Bière du Boucanier Golden ale. $2.99 for a 500ml bottle from John’s Grocery Iowa City, Ia.
