Doesn’t last, but lacing is godd. Caramel, dried fruit, and a touch of roast in the nose. There is also something a little, sour, there. Not bad sour, though. Interesting sour. Flavour is all sweetness, though, with dried fruit and caramel dominating. Could use a little more depth. Medium body and carbonation. troopie (866), USA

Lots of brown sugar and mollasses in the aroma with some sweet fruitiness, and a touch of hops. An interesting mix of tart fruit, and sweet mollasses. A mix of a super malty belgian dubbel, and a fruity ipa. DerWeg (760), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Apple molasses and lemon are featured in what seems like a light Dubbel, and some dutch brewers are just irretrievable Belgian in their leanings whatever they make. I like that. Fin (3410), Merton, Oxfordshire, England
