I liked this beer. Nothing was outstanding, but it had just enough quality features as opposed to negatives. I thought it had some nutty, woody, earthy, caramel, dust, and fig flavors.

This is an overrated Beer. It’s slightly above average, and that’s that. No way in Hell it deserves a 3 or above....it smells blah....it tastes blah...the appearance (including the label) is the best part of this Beer.

Dark brown/burgandy colored pour, with a thin light brown short lasting head. Lightly malty and almost metallicy vinegary, acidic smell too. Highly carbonated, with a sweet, nutty flavor and a very quick finish. Fairly light bodied, and easy to drink. Simple flavors, and not too full bodied for a brown ale. Nothing offensive, but nothing outstanding. A decent brown ale.

11.2oz bottle. Pours a dark, jewel-tone brown with a heavy, long-lasting tan head. Very nice lacing, slightly roasty aroma. Quite smooth and biscuit-y, slightly sweet caramel in there to finish. A bit insubstantial overall but very pleasant to drink.

I WOULD HAVE RATED THIS BEER FAR LOWER IF NOT FOR ONE THING. I LET IT SIT OUT FOR 2 DAYS IN A HOTEL FRIDGE (COVERED) AND WHEN RETASTED...IT SEEMED A LOT BETTER, LIKE IT HAD DEVELOPED A SOUL. BEET TASTING ASTRINGENT BEL/BREW THAT I JUST DON’T GET. GOOD MOUTHFEEL.TYPICAL BROWN ALE HO HUM.

Bottle in pint glass. Pours lovely clear brown with dense tan head and decent lacing. Very faint aroma. Decent caramel flavors, sweet with a faint hint of roastiness. Medium-light body. Clean finish. A decent example of what is not one of my favorite styles.

Nice redbrown color with a small head. Sweet flavor of caramel and a smoth sensation in the mouth, I like this.
