May 7, 2007 11.2 oz bottle. Nice clean brown color, large foamy head with hang time, Heavy lacing. Very grassy sour aroma, kinda stings the nostrils. Malty undertones. Bitter malty biscuitness. Medium bodied. Very bland aftertaste.

Clear, red-brown colour. Thick, off-white head.
Sweet caramel malt aroma.
Sweet, bur rather bland caramelly malt flavor.
Lightish body, slightly oily mouthfeel, moderate carbonation.
Decent, well-balanced brown ale, but frankly quite boring. Can’t really see what all the fuzz is about.

Apr 19, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Clear, orangey brown with a beige head. Floral, almost perfumy aroma. Medium body with fairly sweet caramel flavours, roasted malt and then again these floral accents. Very subdued bitterness. A very drinkable Brown Ale, but a tad on the sweet side. 180407

Apr 18, 2007 Thanks to Sneagrams3 for recommending this brown ale to me. Pours clear dark brown / bronze with a sudsy tan head that turns splotchy with it dissipates. The aroma has sweet toasty malt that is a bit watery and has some tinniness. Medium smooth body with some sharp tingly carbonation. The flavor starts with sweet roasted malt with brown sugar, raisins and some vanilla. The finish is a bit thinner and not as sweet with a bit of spice. As it warms there is more smoothness, brown sugar and some maple syrup sweetness comes out. Overall a thumbs up for this tasty brown ale. While it may not be my favorite style, this is a fine beer.
