mrdeath5493 (108), Arkansas, USA Apr 2, 2007 Light amber. Smell of sweet caramel malt. Tastes sweeter than most in the style. Seems like there is something missing. You could definitely hide more alcohol in this. markas101 (541), Fargo, North Dakota, USA Mar 31, 2007 33 cl bottle, Minneapolis. Medium bodied, cola coloured, malty spice aroma, with some burnt toast. Sweet malt flavour, nice spiciness, not a bad brown ale. ratman197 (3139), Arvada, Colorado, USA Mar 30, 2007 Bottle poured a clear reddish brown witrh a small lingering amber head. Aromas of fruitiness, carmel, spice and a hint of chocolate. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, light chocolate and a hint of spice with a smooth semi-sweet finish. CigarsLoveBeer (153), Illinois, USA Mar 21, 2007 Bottle: Mild, floral/purfumey aroma. Nice and understated. In the mouth, this beer started out sweet, with nut, floral, grape, cream, peach flavors dominating. Some spicy hops were noted at the finish of this beer, but not enough, finished was to sweet for my tastes. Over carbonated. This beer lacked any qualities that I would expect from a brown ale. yeah, not so much.... Hansen (2235), Randers, Denmark Mar 11, 2007 Clear and amber. Has a medium lasting, beige head. Malty, molasse aroma, some hoppy notes too. Flavor is mainly sweet and malty. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Mar 4, 2007 Very faint molasses malt aroma. Tinny, slightly toasty flavor hollows dramatically after only a little time exposed to air. Paying attention to this beer is pointless but it isn’t wretched. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 2, 2007 Bottle sampled with Mad Indian. Pours deep amber with a light tan head. Aroma of nuts, caramel malts, and slight toast. The flavor is caramel, toasted malts, and nuts. MadIndian (987), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 2, 2007 Sampled with Stegosaurus. Bronze pour with barely any aroma but nut was detected with a hint of caramel malt. This was just ok for me.
