Excessively weak. Little perceivable smoke aroma, dense and persistent cream. Low carbonation evidences the lack of flavor of this prehad. Lack taste even vacant are suggested in the mouth, mainly toasted malt.........................................PORTUGUÊS: Achei fraca DEMAIS.

In the 330 mL bottle thanks to Nick S. Pours a reddish brown color with a generous off white head. Aroma is sweet with malty mapel or caramel notes. Medium body that seems to be a bit chalky when you taste it. Low carbonation. Good, but not great.

Poured a very attractive clear ruby with a definite copper tint. The head was two-fingers tall and slightly pillowy. A few rings of lacing. The aroma was sweet malt with a bit of raisin and apricot. The flavor was mostly sweet malt and just a bit of dried fruits. No hop backside to balance out the flavors. Relatively thin mouthfeel. Cool bottle though.

Pours a ruby maroon with a very light tan head. Smells of apple, and various other citrus. Nothing extrememly interesting, but pretty pleasant. Taste has alot of dark fruit. This definitely one of the more sweeter browns that Ive had. No traces of any nuts, or dark malts really. A little molasses, and sweet sugar in the finish. Not bad but not great.

Bottle. Reddish brown with mostly lasting off-whitehead. Aroma offers malt, dried fruits and some green hoppy note. Slightly sweet malt and caramel in the flavor. Average sweet malty finish. Nice brown ale from the country below sealevel.

Dark Brown Ale with caramel sweetness and mild bitterness. Smooth, crisp, survived the journey from the Netherlands with no skunkiness. I was told Tilburgs Brown Ale is "new" to the Philadelphia area and one of the local distributors is pushing the product.
