Tilburgs Dutch Brown Ale

Pours light brown with big beautiful head. Aroma of strong caramel and general sweetness. Taste is very thin, but relatively complex. A good brown ale, but i’ve had better.

Pour is brown with a average brown head. Aroma is sweet malts with a bit of paper bag. Flavor is a little better but still dominated by super sweet malts. Finish is a bit bready and caramel. Just ok but still i could not recomend it.

Sweet aroma of malt and caramel. Decent head that desapears quickly. Not too sweet, and not too bitter, a nice balance. Notes of caramel. Mouthfeel a little watery, but acceptable. Right amount of carbonation A nice beer, a little better than Newcastle IMO.

Bottle. Brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, caramel. Flavour sweet, caramel, malt.

What a great dutch beer, one of the best by far, It has a great almost fruity but not taste, sweet and very solid in the taste department! Nice Nice smell, and besides the lack of lacing, the look of this brew is great! I love the dutch!

I’m pretty sure I had a shit bottle when it came to this. As a brown ale it was passable, slightly sweet and chewy (possibly the yeast). Woudl have preferred this served a bit colder than the lukewarm bottle that was brought out. Generally malty (as expected), with a little spice. Not my favoirte, but the bottle logo has me wondering WTF? (Kafka?)

Pleasant caramel and berry aroma. Roasted malt taste with a hint of semi-sweet chocolate. Nice crisp hops balance.

11.2oz bottle. Amber colored beer with tan head. Sweet aroma of caramel, molasses, brown sugar and a bit of breadiness. Sweet caramel/molasses flavor that leads to coriander and vanilla. Also somewhere in there is a bread flavor. At the finish is a slight maple syrup note that surfaces. Very nice taste.
