| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2006 The aroma is sweet and very malty with caramel and dark fruit. The appearance is a medium red-brown with a medium tan head. The flavor is sweet and doughy with some yeastiness. There is also detectable bitterness but just enough to make it interesting. The palate is just ok for brown ale. I like it but it seems to be missing something. Also, I like the surreal artwork on the bottle; it looks like a Salvador Dali! ehhdayton (1113), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2006 The pour is a reddish brown with a decent tan head of considerable duration and lacing. The aroma that greets the nose is sweet with notes of caramel and fruit. The malty sweetness dominates throughout and no hops are apparent. The finish is light on the palate. cphbeerking (153), København K, Denmark
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 22, 2006 Pours a clear red brown with a nice head, slight lacing. Rather straightforward nose of toffee and chocolate, taste likewise, for which reason I quickly came to think of this in terms of a dessert. Heavy and sweet for the style, though still drinkable. saxo (3571), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 7, 2006 Beautiful dark ruby color. Sugar added to the brew, and you can smell that.Tastes sweet, too, but in a pleasant way. Not too malty, not too strong. Maybe tehy could make a stronger version with more kick? The flavour is fruitym like sweet apples. I think this would be perfect with a rich marzipan cake. oh6gdx (8838), Vasa, Finland
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Bottled. Dark copper coloured, small brown head. Aroma of sweet caramel and malts. Flavour is sweet caramellish malts with hints of apples (the sourness of apples) and also some raisins and plums towards the finish. Pleasant beer, which is refreshing at the same time it amuses your senses.
