Light syrupy.Caramelly, fruity and sweetish flavour. Is a little artificial. Ends on a very very light bitter note. A bit too sweet for my likings. sneagrams3 (1747), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Nice lacing ring. Musty and raisinous initial aroma. Sweet and malty, cocoa and vanilla. Lively and sweet. This is not what I was expecting, in fact a whole lot better. Sugary and syrupy. 7-Up like effervescence, which tingles across the gums. Clinging head. Reasonably full bodied and sugary. Me Likey! mephisto (1144), Taiwan

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 19, 2006 Bottle (330ml). Poured bright clear copper with a good sized lasting off-white creamy head and nice drapes of lacing. Cola-like sweet roast malt, mild winter spices and vanilla, some fruit hovering around. Very sweet taste, brown sugar and caramel roast malt, cinnamon and nutmeg, some bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel syrupy, almost thick, fairly flat. Extremely sweet, but very easy to drink - would be a good dessert beer. onystrom (780), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Looks great, deep red-brown with a substatial head. The smell is a bit fruity, with acidic citrus and cranberry maybe, altogether pleasant. It sits very nicely in the mouth, creamy and smooth. the flavor is immensely sweet and malty but balanced by some nice acid tart flavors. Incredibly drinkable, I could have a few more of these! tcruicks (282), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Smooth, creamy, just really nice to drink. Aroma is too fruity, cranberry and orange are overpowering. Similar in flavour but not as powerful. Best part is the palate for sure. LoveCaissa (873), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 12, 2006 Very pretty reddish brown ale with a fine tane head. Overall, a very nice brown ale albeit too sweet. The taste of brown sugar is simply too cloying for a really good rating.
