| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2005 Bottle & tap. Red brown clear with big bubbled head. Nice estery aroma (very close to Leffe Bruin). Sweet flavor and extraordinarily complex for a beer of this strength. Some caramel and chocolate and hints of rose leafs. Ends with some grain like flavor without much bitterness. Full bodied. Very nice! Brad (364), Berkley, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 22, 2005 12 oz. bottle: Light brown pour, a little hazy, but mostly transparent, with a sustaining near white head. Aromas were of sweet malts (especially raisens/prunes). Flavor wasn’t as sweet as this beer is heavily watered down, touches of caramel and dried dark fruits. Mouthfeel is watery, aftertaste is washed out. fluids (364), USA
