Draught @ beerbistro: Came copper, nice white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy at the same time, and not what I expected. Flavour is extremely sweet with caramel, hints of roasted malts, and lots of great spicing. Not at all what I expected from a brown ale but it’s quite nice, actually.

Pours a nice amber brown color with a white foamy head. Smells of sugar and malt. Not much in the taste department. Had to try it again because I did not get much. Tastes of water, dark fruits, brown sugar, and caramel. Flavor is not bold enough for my liking.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours a nutbrown beer with an offwhite to lightbrown head. The aroma is caramel malt, sweetness and some fruits (raisin/plum) The flavor is sweet caramel and fruits. The beer has some dark malts in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel starts a lot of taste but ends up balanced.

Bottle. Poured a reddish brown, very thin beige head disappeared almost instantly. Aroma is of sweet malt with a touch of sourness. Carbonation is mild, feels somewhat thin. Flavor is of caramel malt and slightly nutty. Finishes sweet, nice.

Poured from a bottle. Poured a deep ruby color with a moderate beige head. Aroma is hard to describe. Flavor is very interesting, and nice. Slight roasted malts with undertones of fruits, especially apple, and some caramel and toffee. Smooth and easy to drink. A nice surprise.
