On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of moderate barnyard funk, sweetened fruits, and grape skins. Flavour brings out barnyard funk, some sweetened lighter fruits, and zest. Great blend of gueuzes, with a touch of sweetness. Quite funky with low sourness and low acidity.

Cask @ ZBF 2013.
Pours hazy yellow with a small, crothy, off-white head. Aroma has light butter, funk, mild lactic notes. Low carbonation, fine dry and light oily mouthfeel. Flavour is tart, dry, lactic, citrus zesty, green apple. Lingering tart and dry finish. Kinda lacks some depth.

Precis som tilquin geuze på tapp på delirium har inte denna så mycket doft. Men frisk och härlig smak. Skall då alltså vara en blend av olika lambic. På moeder lambic

MrW (221) - Londerzeel, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2013
Sample from cask @ ZBF 2013 Sour, minimal herbs and fruity aroma, apple, a bit dusty. Yellow gold hazy look, with a good white stable head. Taste is more fresh than the aroma. Balanced sour, a minimal bitterness, fruity, sour, lemon, granny smith apples. Slightly fizzy mouthfeel, with a weak watery finish. Aftertaste is a little dry bitterness and a bit sour.

Cask Very good, surprisingly stable white head over orange, faintly veiled beer. Sour, bit acetic nose, pickles, fried onions, Brettanomyces. Mild sour, lactic flavour with a marked, creamy MF. Lactic (acid) flavour turns out really long-lasting. Finish is lipsmacking sour-dry with barnyard and leathersoap flavours. Dry... Good lambicblend, well-balanced.

Draft @ Tilquin during TdG ’13. The pour’s slightly hazy amber with a tiny white head. The nose is apple pie, some haystack, weak acidic bite. Nice fruity apple profile. The taste is acidic golden apple cider. Pillowy lactic yogurt. Delicate citrus funk. Plenty of barnyard. Soft carbonation. Light body. Very pleasant stuff.

Tap at Tilquin, thanks to the man himself. He said this is the last keg, so I’m very happy to have had the opportunity to sample this! It pours clear golden yellow, with a small bubbly head. The nose is soft, light fruitiness, apple, melon, juicy tartness, lemon and faint barnyard. The taste is smooth, delicate, green apple, lemon, melon, pear skin, some farmyard, light acidity and faint prickliness, with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and pretty much flat. Smooth, fruity and utterly drinkable.
