2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 kerenmk (1241) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 14, 2013
Can or bottle at Phoenix Restaurant, Vaslui, Romania, March 2013. Pours clear, golden with white head. Smelled malt and corn but can’t be sure about it - the place reeked of cigarette smoke. Tastes bitter, corny and stingy. Light body, soft fizz and short finish.
1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 GIJOE (145) - Monterey, California, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Pale amber pour from the bottle. Negligible head that is gone within a minute.
Skunky aroma, like a cheap knockoff of standard American lawnmower beer.
Tastes like fermented corn and hay. I feel rather like a cow at the moment. I won’t be finishing this beer. Blech.
Medium-bodied, which is surprising for such a sour skunk beer.
Not for me. I might take one on a hot day after hard work in the sun, but only if there was nothing better. It is better than Budweiser, Miller, Coors, or any other mass-produced American piss.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 zdenok20 (2) - Nadlac, ROMANIA - MAR 17, 2013 does not count
Great easy drinkable beer. Best variant is the draft variant. You can find it in almost all the bars and pubs in the western part of Romania.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 jrodooo5 (534) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - FEB 21, 2013
Pours a see through gold. I like the big white head that leave some lacing. The aroma is faint at best. The taste is clean and crisp - surprisingly not terrible but a pretty boring beer. I could drink this if the options were extremely limited.
2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EtTuCthulhu (459) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - FEB 19, 2013
This beer is golden with nearly no head, and the aroma is skunky and yeasty. The taste is quite sour, slightly sweet, and slightly salty, and the palate combines light body, thin and slick texture, average carbonation, and an abrupt finish.
