2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear bright brass color with a generous rocky head that settles to a 1/4" head cover, no lace. This is a very still brew (no carbonation). The taste matches the aroma - light malt joined quickly by light floral hops. Clean, fast-disappearing watery finish. This certainly is drinkable, but, there is very little to remember. In fact, there is very little, period (are we certain it is 5%abv?). Not recommended.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A clear light gold beer with a quickly dissipating soapy head. The aroma is sweet malt, grain, and fruity. The flavor is the same and the body is thin and highly carbonated, like drinking a soda.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy straw, soapy bubbles and doesn’t last. Yeast, malt/barley, some skunk. Taste was similar but with a fruitiness that was a nice bonus. A little sweet, sugary, just a touch.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
PAle golden coloured beer with a frothy white head. A light fruity aroma, slightly sweet but not over-powering. Dry and fizzy mouthfeel. The taste is a little resinous at first, an oily hop flavour is soon cut by a zesty fruitiness that lessens the cloying factors, giving the finish a crisp fruity flavour.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from beersofeurope.com. Quirky bottle label with a competition to win one of three crap estate cars. Clear, fizzy looking pale lager which wins brownie points for its foamier than usual head. Nice lacing, too. Clean, yeasty aroma with just a hint of metal, like a decent Czech Bohemian pilsener. More metal in the taste and this has a crisp taste, smooth texture, with a nice bitter after taste. Have to say, this is a quality pilsener; certainly no macro lager here.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Weak barley aroma. Clear amber, thin head. Cardboard flavor. I usually like euro lagers, but this was not great.

500 mL bottle from State Line. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of sweet and grainy malts, cereal notes, nutty notes. The taste is grainy malts, raisins, faint grassy hops. Medium bodied.

Bottled at a restaurant in Calei, Transylvania. Disappointing LBJ (little blond job) that does the necessary appearance stuff without much content of interest.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale yellow with big white foam head, lacing to glass and staying. Typical malty aroma, thick, some straw. Taste is too sweet, again malt and barley. Short somewhat bitter aftertaste. Had better. (Bucharest 201208)
