1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
500 ml can sampled@RBNAG 2009. Fully diminishing, big-bubbled blond head. Body is fizzy, pale yellow gold in color. Vague aroma of sweetish malts, with a scent unfresh papery hops. Taste is sugary malts, or maybe adjuncts, and a note of stale bittering hops. Highly forgettable.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2009 500 ml can sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Pale golden body with a white diminishing head. A vague and soapy aroma with some harshness. Flavor is light, a bit harsh and somehow with a kind of sticky sweetness without being malty. Not much flavor here, and the little flavor that’s present is a bit unpleasant.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Corti Bros. in Sacramento, CA. BB 6/10/2010. Pours light gold with a three-finger white head. Aroma of noble hop underlaid by an almost honey sweetness. Near medium body wih creamy carbonation. Flavor is pale malt with a bit of grassy bitter. Finishes bitter and very slightly astringent. Certainly much better than USA macros.

Bottle in Brasov.
Unfortunately, a disappointment, did not taste much, and the little taste that was reminded a bit of cardboard. Very bad beer.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pour is a bright yellow with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is actually quite decent and fresh for a lager from half way around the world. Lots of bready malts with a suprising hop. Flavor is a bit poor. Some grain and grass but it leaves a bit of sourness on the tounge after the swallow. Still this is not as bad as most ratings on here. It will do for outside activities on a warm summer day.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tasted 8/30/09. 500ml bottle. Best before June 10th 2010. Pale golden hue. Trace ring of head. Aromas of cereal grains and fresh cut grass. Light to medium bodied with a crisp, yet thin palate. Grainy cereal and trace hops. Dry bitterness in the finish. Has a decent amount of flavor. Not terrible, just unremarkable.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled, at Intermezzo, Timisoara/Temesvár, Romania.
A very alive and kicking beer in Transilvania, probably not retired. Golden colour with cottony head. Cereal aroma with bit of metal. Hard mouthfeel and very dry, like many Romanian beers. Bit papery and lacking in maltiness. Overall very dry and cardboardy with a stemmy feel. No dms, and pretty clean so I wouldn’t call it a terrible beer. But dry it is!
