Extrem fruchtiger Geruch nach Erd- und Himbeere. Im Antrunk trocken, nur ein Hauch von süß. Tänzelnde Brettsaromen.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Clear red pour with thin very light pink head, almost white. Aroma is fruity, nice punchy raspberry aroma, not artificial which came as a bit of a surprise. Taste is also actually not so sweet, much less diabetic than is the norm with these commercial berry lambics, this one combines a nice fruity acidity and fruity sweetness. Palate is a bit thin and overcarbed, could be more mellow. Quite ok.

I really like this style, but this doesn’t look like a lambic in the glass. It doesn’t really smell like one, either. However, it has a nice tart raspberry flavor to it, and the history behind the brewery makes me respect it just a little more. Not my favorite lambic, but not a terrible beer, either. Cheers!

Looks, smells and taste as the name suggests. Always a nice way to end an evening with lots of beer tasted. Sweet aroma, sweet taste. Just what it promisses. (Arnhem 201404_

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Great aroma of tart raspberry. Appears pretty clear rose color with small white head and spotty lacing. Taste is very fruity and fresh raspberry but lacks in tartness an d is not sour in any way. Not much complexity, but it’s delicious.

Bottle, pours dark red, with a white head, smells and tastes sweet of raspberry, not bad but Lindeman’s is better.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at home, post Craft 100 warm down, from Beermerchants 03/04/14.
Hazed pinkish red with a very light crimson covering that thins and retains.
Nose is sweet raspberry, straw, raspberry syrup, light vomit, lactic tang, that nasty smell (concoction) you create as a child when you mix Ribena and milk!
Taste follows, less milky, sweet raspberry syrup, sugary berry fruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet close.
Meh - ish ! Just too sweet and syrupy, looks fine and feels fine on the palate, these factors alone probably inflate my score a little so have dropped overall from 10 to 9 to take this into account.
Cheap and cheerless!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle (250 ml). Clear red with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma of sweet raspberries, sugar, gummies and not much else. Taste is exactly the same so there’s no surprise here. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Exactly as anticipated, a cheap sweetened fruit lambic tick.
