This lambic is cheaper under the delhaize brand name and pours with a sweet rasberry aroma and a dark red colour. It taste sweet on the lips with a long and full finish.

Ladybeer taste off at The Penguin, 01/03/12. Pale ruby with a fine pink foam. Pretty enticing natural fruit, raspberry jam aroma. Light acidity, raspberry ripple, tea-like pip notes, wholemeal...sadly undermined by saccharine bitterness. Just about drinkable- the acidity pulls it through.

Sample from bottle at Yellow Brick Pizza. Pours a clear purpleish-amber color with a medium fizzy off-white head that evaporates steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of raspberries and wheat. Light body with a mildly tart raspberry flavor along with a touch of wheat. The finish is short with a raspberry aftertaste. Very one-note and forgettable, just average overall.

Draft on tap at Bavarian Lodge (Lisle, IL). Pours a rich vibrant copper hue, glowing pinkish red comes into the glow, with a healthy haze. Frothy pinkish tan head sticks around as a decent layer, dies to a film yet laces pretty well. Aromas are a powerful sweeter raspberry, seedy and jammy, rich berries, sweeter overall with some gentle tartness, light bready quality as the raspberry fruit outshines almost everything. Initial is medium bodied, perhaps a touch thicker on the palate offering some sweeter raspberry, rich seedy and jammy, raspberry skins, fruit, a touch sweeter as a gentle tartness works into the fold into the middle and backend. It is sweeter overall, but not offensive, not into any sort of fake/artificial/medicinal quality. Finish is lingering raspberry juice and seedy fruits, a touch tart. A bit sweet for me, but overall this isn’t a bad beer. The missus loved it. Overall, it’s hard to peg as a lambic, more a fruit beer. Inoffensive but on the sweet side, lacking complexity and more of a one trick pony.

Bottled. Clear red color with a modest pink head and a strong raspberry aroma. There is a sweet raspberry soda flavor with some high carbonation and a slightly tart finish. Mouthfeel is quite sweet and acid..

Bottle thanks to my sister. Pours a deep reddish pink with thick pale pink coloured heads. Aromas of raspberry & cherry cordial. Some sourness but it can compete with the artifical fruit sweetness. Flavours show a little tartness and acidity but once again the artifical sweetness is there. Very thin near the finish.

Keg@yorktap as raspberry. Deep burgundy. Fruity raspberry cordial most. Fairly sweet artificial raspberry. Not unpleasant though

Great sweet-sour taste, like raspberries that aren’t fully ripe yet. Never sweet, nicely balanced. From De Bierwinkel in Leiden.

Had this at the Cajun Cafe near Seminole, nice place. On tap. Smell is pleasantly fruity and it looks colorfully attractive. A little tart on the first taste but not as lambic like as I was expecting. Although it said raspberry, I swear there is some cherry taste in there. Yes, a little sweet and tart but I would say its more like a sweeter fruit beer than a sweet fruity lambic. A little dissapointed but it was still way above average. An overall good beer tasting experience and the ambiance of where i tased it added to the effect!
