Draught @ WSF 2008. Deep burgundy with no head.. Sour with cherry and woody notes. Slight barnyard notes with a sour finish.

Weekend of spont. ferment. 07 . Almost clear light red. No head. Strong acidic aroma, loads of shiraz-like tannins, almonds, freshly cut hardwood, very light on the cherry notes. Big sour flavours of almond meal, light sour cherry, a touch of balsamic vinegar, vanilla.. so massively tart through the finish too. Puckering, complex and delicious.

Draught @ WSF. I have a feeling that this may have been mislabeled as it’s got a slating on here and my notes are quite positive. The only consistency is the ultra tartness. Blood red with no head. Sour cherry and raspberry nose. Taste is extremely tart, cherry lemon and raspberry with a long sour finish. Oh well, if you see a good kriekenlambik that I’ve slated substitute this rate for that, lol...

Draught@Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. This was really sour, but a really sharp sour, very acidic, bordering on unpleasant, quite bitter aswell, to add to the sourness. Some nice farmyard funk and some cherry notes in there which make it a bit more bearable.
