3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Very big foamy head, goes down slow. The smell is fresh (citrus like) and sweat bitter, like a heavy pilsner (more hops and stronger smell than pilsner). Color is lemon yellow. Taste citrus and a little bit of spices. Fresh and reminds of a summer blonde beer (not white beer). Pretty typical blonde beer. Light and freshly bitter. Citrus like fruity. Note: no sugars added and leaves no flakes.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear sparkling yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma is quite sour, sour apples . Taste enormous fresh, quite sour to. Long lasting sour aftertaste. You have to get used to this, but it is OK. (Velp 201309)

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.375l corked bottle. A lovely looking blurry kinda apricot colored thing with a small quickly almost disappearing sidesticking white thing that could be a head. Really nice gueuze nose with un ripe berries, sour grass, sour lemons, sour green strawberries, hay and some brett. I really like. Mhm, not to sour or acidic in the taste either. The pickled lemons are there, but they are so integrated and just really refreshing. I’m noticing that I have almost finished the bottle before I had a chance to rate this finish and I think that’s a good thing. Light notes of apple vinegar in the finish. Mhm.. Nice! 02.08.2013

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From bottle share in Boca Raton. Thanks Derek! Small snifter. Yellow hazy pour with thick white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of funk, citrus (lemon mostly), earth. Taste was very sour with lemon, barnyard funk, brett. High carbonation with an almost metallic tartness. Dry finish. My kind of Gueze.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at MFF. Pours murky, hazy golden straw, light clearish head. Notes of lemonade, very carbonated gueuze, wet wood, and soap. Light to medium in body. Good tartness but lacking the barn complexity and vtg wood that you get in the better producers.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared at the MFF. Aroma is tart lemon and salty pickle. Pours opaque blonde but not chunky. Very carbonated. Taste is ultra tart lemon, nice briny pickle and salty mineral. Very tart throughout and light on the brain. A little offensive and less "mature" than is preferred in a gueuze but I kept wanting more. A great beer.
