Thin mouthfeel with a crisp tartness and lemon with nice sourness in the finish. Easy to drink lots of carbonation, a very impressive gueuze from Timmermans.

Maybe I got a vintage bottle or just lucky, but this one was really good. Frunky dry, good carbonation and aromatic. THIS IS PRIME WET FEET IN A BOTTLE. Improves as it warms. Good example of the style.

Nice fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour and fruity, hay, dried fruits, sour apples, banana, citrus peel, grain. Taste is acidic sour, lemon, applecidervinegar, sorrel, citrus peel, grass. Longlasting bitterness. Fresh and easy drinking. Nice one coming from Timmermans.

Cloudy golden colour, foam to disappears instantly. Long finish, but very sour and sticky. Don’t know why it’s called limited edition, there are much better generally available Gueuzes around.

2010. Golden pour with a pillowy white head. Aroma has a funky mustiness, lemons, and sweet honey. The taste has sour lemons which is the dominant flavor profile. The taste is a step up from the aroma and admittedly is better than I had anticipated. The carbonation is high and the palate has a medium level of mouth puckering.

Bottle - Vintage 2010 - Funky sour lemon grass. Cloudy yellow and no head. Lemon and right into a throat tingling sourness, funk and horse blanket muted. A very accessible sour.

Clear golden colour with a small frothy white head.
The aroma is tart berries, spices, yeast and acidity.
The flavour is very tart with red berries and citrus. Acidic. Sour. The balance and yeast is missing. It’s still quite challenging.

Sample @ Timmermans during TdG ’13. The pour’s light hazy gold with a small white head. Nose of lemon custard, parmesean, grape must. Little else. Not an expansive aroma. The taste is simple lemon juice, brett, compost, earth. Solidly refreshing, abrupt finish. Crisp palate, active carbonation. Overall, OK, but not close to the best in the class.

Pours blonde with a small head.
The aroma is both fruity and a touch acidic. The bouquet features some funk and sour cherry, some dustiness and animal perspiration.
The flavor is very sour and lemony, briney and fairly acidic. Lots of that sort of earthy/bitter fruit rind character.
Not too bad.

Pours a hazy very pale yellow with a large foamy white head. Aroma has musty tropical fruit and faint leather...very faint tart lemony notes. Flavor has notes of peach and pear that quickly fade to leather, funk, and tart lemon. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry with mild lingering fruit.
