Pours a hazey yellow with large frothy white head that lasts awhile. The aroma is citrus and tons of funk. Thin mouthfeel with a crisp tartness and lemon with nice sourness in the finish. Easy to drink lots of carbonation, a very impressive gueuze from Timmermans.

750 ml bottle. L2010. 0110. BBE 2030. Vintage 2009 says the cork. From finestshop.be.
Clear golden colour with a small frothy white head.
The aroma is tart berries, spices, yeast and acidity.
The flavour is very tart with red berries and citrus. Acidic. Sour. The balance and yeast is missing. It’s still quite challenging.

Sample @ Timmermans during TdG ’13. The pour’s light hazy gold with a small white head. Nose of lemon custard, parmesean, grape must. Little else. Not an expansive aroma. The taste is simple lemon juice, brett, compost, earth. Solidly refreshing, abrupt finish. Crisp palate, active carbonation. Overall, OK, but not close to the best in the class.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 CanIHave4Beers (2495) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - APR 19, 2013
I am almost positive that I rated this.... glad I found the paper rating again.
Pours blonde with a small head.
The aroma is both fruity and a touch acidic. The bouquet features some funk and sour cherry, some dustiness and animal perspiration.
The flavor is very sour and lemony, briney and fairly acidic. Lots of that sort of earthy/bitter fruit rind character.
Not too bad.

Pours a hazy very pale yellow with a large foamy white head. Aroma has musty tropical fruit and faint leather...very faint tart lemony notes. Flavor has notes of peach and pear that quickly fade to leather, funk, and tart lemon. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry with mild lingering fruit.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 gEUS (577) - Linden, BELGIUM - APR 1, 2013
750 ml bottle - pours light straw yellow with a thin yet dense looking head. Aroma of vinegar, citrus peel, citrus. Light body with immediate acid lactic attach which lasts way beyond the finish with a ctiric taste, small tart flavour as well. Now this is a real acid gueuze - not your average one, yet quite special. Definite like. I hope they make more of this and less of their commercial... [fill in whatever you think is appropriate]...

Corked bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels, bb 2028 Darker shade of blond, hazy, with giant rocky head. The aroma is initially mild; but under the foam it reveals apungent acetic smell, followed by some cellar smell too, and bit of lemon. The mouthfeel is very dry, without concession to any smoothness, and the carbonation is very high; very acidic, with strong lemon presence, but clearly missing the funky character of the best Lambics, the animal, the cellar, the cobwebs and the rest. Pleasant sour drink.
