750ml bottle from Hipercor, Oviedo. @Cimmeria. Shared with Chela.01-03-2014.
In short: a tart sugary beer.
Pours hazy reddish with some pinkish head. Short head retention, some lacework. Caramel, tart, fruity aromas. Light body, high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is quite tart, dry, astringent, some caramel and fruity notes, not exactly kriek ones. Not so balanced, but enjoyable anyway.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750mL bottle, pours a dark cherry red with a small beige head. Nose brings out cherries, barnyard funk, and wet wood. Flavour brings out sour cherries, wood, light funk, and some acidity. Definitely one of Timmernan’s best, as it’s the most authentic of their fruit lambics, with prominent funky and acidic notes and without any sweetness. Bone dry, woody and acidic on the finish. Good stuff.

Flavor is very oldish, unripe cherry, funky, some wood (birch?). Very tart finish, along with fruit peel. Lingering tartness, unripe fruits, and cherry flavors. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Super flavorful, hyper refreshing, and very easy drinking to boot.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Small Batch. Pours a dark red with pinkish hue. Aroma of cherry skins, slight nail polish, horseblanket. Flavor has plenty of cherry juice and skins with significant tartness. Some barnyard is there, but it’s masked by sour candy. Quite prickly on the tongue and increasingly sharp and sour. Tongue fatigue comes into play after a few ounces as a result. Very enjoyable but only in limited quantities.
