ricke (74), Malme, Sweden Nov 5, 2009 Pale amber color, small slightly off-white head that settles fast. Minimal lacings.
Sweetish artificial peach aromas. Very one-sided, I don’t really get much else from it. Reminiscent of cheap ice tea.
Plenty of sweet peach flavors, rather artificial, like soft peach candy. Some fruit syrup. There’s nothing balancing the sweetness. Beneath the candy-like peaches are some noticeable notes of malts and caramel, and they don’t mix very well with the fruity sweetness. The finish is short and doesn’t really deliver anything else than more peaches, some mineral notes and perhaps the faintest hint of grass.
Light body, fizzy carbonation.
As with so many of the Timmermans fruit lambiks, this is more reminiscent of a fruit soda than of beer. Might perhaps be suitable as a sweet treat when one is craving for sugar, but as a beer - and most importantly a lambic - this is less than mediocre.

(Copy of old Beer Advocate review) DruncanVeasey (2695), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England Sep 18, 2009 Tin stolen out of my girlfriend’s parents’ house (fish-sitting). Soapy old lady’s drawer liner, powderpuff and apricot jam aroma. Still gold slicked with white, a bit like beer. Unbearable soapy chemical peach sherbet and saccharine flavour. A fitting punishment. I thoroughly deserve it, I’m sorry, and so should be Timmermans. SaintMatty (1197), Tallinn, Estonia Sep 8, 2009 250ml Bottle (Cambrinus, Brugge) - Amber in colour. Sweet and perfumed peach aroma with a hint of passion fruit. Sweet peach taste with a bittersweet finish. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. RichardW (241), Carlisle, Cumbria, England Sep 1, 2009 Draught, Carlisle European Market. A fine light coloured beer, bags of taste and very refreshing. Found the flavour to be very fresh tasting and thoroughly enjoyable. DuffMan (2723), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Aug 31, 2009 Bottle. Slightly hazy orange-amber with a medium orange tinted head. Initial aroma is peach syrup with a faint vinegar tang, but the vinegar tang fades away after the head recedes and the beer has had time to breathe. Natural-tasting soft peach flavour with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Nice subtle yoghurt/lactic acidity and a perfumey note in the finish add some character and keep this from being a peachy sugar bomb. lithilorn (169), Covilhã, Portugal Aug 2, 2009 Ambar body and white head. Strong peach aroma. Flavor of peach like in an ice tea. Enjoyable lambic to drink, not nitter and not too sweet. Pinball (2693), Allerød, Denmark Jul 29, 2009 aroma of pear, fruits. faint faint sourness.
