Bottle in Sherlock’s, Middlesbrough. Amber with an off white head. Unpleasant perfumy peach smell. The taste is very sweet with sharp peach and a soapy aftertaste. To be fair, peach isn’t my favourite flavour, but this is rank.

Flaska av en kompis, tack Stefan. Intensiva aromer av persika. Lätt syrlig inledning som snabbt ersätts av en hög sötma.

Typical sweetened pêche and somewhat of a classic in the style - a style I never managed to appreciate. Thin head, orange blonde colour. Peach juice, effectively used, is evident, as well as pineapple slices in syrup, lemon acidity and a very, very light and restrained lambic funkiness and tartness, but not nearly enough to balance out the sugary sweetness.

330ml bottle from the Cheese & Wine shop, Darlington. Clear amber colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of stewed peach, fruity. Taste is sweet, peach, marzipan, tangy, some notes of hay. Thin slightly syrupy mouthfeel, light bodied, medium carbonation, sourish finish with lingering peach. OK.

330 ml bottle at Il Maltese. Light orange, crystal clear, with a small white head. Fake and artificial smell of peach fruit juice. Nothing else, really. Mild tartness, slightly dusty, very sweet and sirupy, extremely cloying after a few sips. Average carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. No balance, no complexity, no real sourness as well. What’s the point ? A proper peach juice at least it’s healtier.

Bottle, 33cL. A clear orange beer with a small head. Poor retention. No bubbly life. Aroma of peach, acid and something artificial. Medium sugary sweet, acid note. Light body, thin texture, fizzy carbonation, sweet finish. Overall, so light, so fizzy, so peach. Easy to drink. Lambic ?!? Where are dryness and sourness ?
