thewolf (3392), Kolding, Denmark Jun 15, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Bjergtrolden, Roskilde.
Pours clear orange with a small, staying, creamy white head. Aroma is pure, sweet peach with light dryness. Okay creaminess in the mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly sweet, some funkiness, good peach. It is actually okay balanced. Fair enough fruit beer. hughie (2054), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jun 3, 2008 Bright copper amber. Well, I know this isn’t the real deal, but I think it’s a rather charming drink. Aroma of tinned peaches, sweet and rather old fashioned. Taste begins sweet and syruppy, but there’s just a little sourness and dryness too. No, it won’t be a regular tipple of mine, but it’s more enjoyable than many fruit beers I could name. gam (464), brisbane, Australia Jun 1, 2008 Thin but good head, strong carbonation, colour, orange.Aroma, candy, peach, apple note, peppermint.Flavour, sweet, lollie, fruity, peach taste.Cherry, apple not my usual drink but okay stuff. bhensonb (2713), Woodland, California, USA May 25, 2008 Bottle at the Marquis Cornwallis in Bloomsbury. BB10-10-08. Pours copper with a white head. Peach aroma. Not a touch of sour yet. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Peach flavor, then a little lactic, then more lactic. Finishes dry, and lightly lactic. Not a strongly sour lambic. Starts fruit sweet, introduces lactic sour and rewards with a little sweet at the finish. Really good. grimreeser (611), Minnesota, USA May 20, 2008 On tap. Clear gold with a large white head. Nice peach aroma. Sweet with a little bit of sour at the end.
