(Timmermans Peche Lambic ) Bottle 250 ml as Peche Lambicus, poured into a stem glass, ABV 4% Very dark golden yellow colour on the body, goo sized head, white in colour and thin but with good retention, leaving minimal lacing around the glass. Aroma is full of peach, and although smells fresh, you can say itís artificial and added. Candy sugar underneath. Taste also of candy sugar, peaches, metallic notes on the finish. Quite sweet but with a mild sourness eventually and some fruity bubblegum. Thin body, a bit high on the carbonation. Overall okay, but nothing Iíd buy again.

Martinus (2812) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - AUG 25, 2014
Clear warm golden colour, fine white head. Aroma of peach, peach candy / artificial peach (my guess would be linalyl formate), light apple. Sweet flavour, sour hint, peach candy. Quite thin body. Light sour finish, light lactic acid, sweetener, peach candy, hint of actual peach juice. Too sweet for my liking, but well, I might not be the target group of this beer anyway..

Iets te zuur naar mijn goesting. Dan heb ik er liever andere die op de markt zijn.

Bottle. Clear copper-orange with a small head. Peaches and fruity (apricots) aroma and taste with light yeasty notes. Sweet with dry finish, light tartness. A bit artificial. Light and fizzy. Doesnít feel a real lambic, more like a fruit beer.

Refreshing flavor of peach. Very aftertaste that sticks under the upper lip for a long while. When you drink this, you can not believe itís a beer. But wonderfully good it is. Follow me @ Kung av Ųl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Bottle from beer temple shared with Tom, tasted side by side with St-Louis Premium PÍche. Paler pour of the two, light hazy gold pour. Aroma is really peachy (the artificial kind, think peach rings), candy, jujubes. Taste is quite sweet, peach syrup, really sweet. Palate is light bodied, not too much residual sweetness with nice carbonation. Actually quite drinkable and it won the contest with its rival hands down. Must be the Timmermans lambic which is actually not bad.

Bottle (250 ml). Side by side with St. Louis Premium PÍche(!). Slightly hazy bright golden with no head and no lacing. Aroma is of peach gummies, chemical sweetness, Taste is also of peach gummies, a good amount of sweetness and very light acidiy. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Good peach gummies juice. No complexity at all, but itís still quite tasty. Similar to Lindemans PÍche.
