3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle split with Anndiesel on Valentines Day 2014. Unfiltered dulled orange. Head fades out to an oily residue after a few minutes. Has some of that funked barnyard sour wheat and orange sourness in the aroma, but not quite as forced as US sours. Pleasant on the palate, light to medium bodied. Quite sweet, but very tasty. Really enjoyable light fruity pumpkin flavor, nothing like the spice bombs. The bonus sugar does smooth it all out, but gives it a sort of nutrasweet thing. You know what, this is a Faro. Delicate lactic sourness gives it a great sourness. Delicate and sublime, with a steady sugary undercurrent. Not unlike some of the sugary cheap Belgian lambics, but a little more depth and authenticity.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
750 mL bottle poured into a Lindemans flute. Pours a crystal clear amber/copper color, with very bubbly head. Aroma is a faint brown sugary, cinnamon sweetness. Flavor is timid sweetness that peaks through the carbonation. First swallow reminds me of a delicate flavored pastry. Mouthfeel is nice, prickley on the tongue. Overall a pleasant flavor that I think would pair well with delicate meats like buttery white fish or chicken.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Flat and strangely tasting like apple juice. Amber with slight white lacing. I don’t get any pumpkin, only apple. Not a good lambic. Only reason I got it was Because It Was The 3 Dollar Draft At Wob Cap hill.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
30/XII/13 - 75cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - production date: 24/VII/13 (2013-1200)
Clear dark orange bee, aery beige head, totally unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very spicy, lots of cinnamon, cloves, speculoos all the way. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet, sugary, lots of cinnamon, bit sourish, lemony, hard to taste the real pumpkin meat in it, but at least it is not a bad rotten pumpkin flavour as in some of those pumpkin beers. Aftertaste: lots of cinnamon, speculoos cookies, bit sour, lemony touch. Oh well, nice try, but not my thing.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Meh, was expecting much more lambic character, guess I haven’t had much Timmerman’s before? Pour was orange, near nil head. Aroma had no funk or barnyard, pumpkin tons of sweet honey and spices. Flavor followed, somewhat sweet pumpkin malt base, sweetened with sugar presumably. Mouthfeel wasn’t dry enough, blah.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours golden amber with a thin head. Faint fruity tartness, pumpkin spice, a little sweetness, and faint acidity. Weird. I don’t know why I liked this. It sounds gross, but it’s not.
