Two traditions are brought together here in a unique complacency, namely an original succulence never tempted before. The result is sublime, liberating a graceful taste tinted by a controlled acidity on the lambic confused with the dry fruity of the pumpkin and the discreet sugar added. By crossing the middle of the mouth appears a taste of brown sugar remembering and accentuating the convivial touch of Halloween.

Clear orange-amber color with a medium thick fluffy white head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus and pumpkin spice. Light-bodied with flavors of zesty lemon, pumpkin and cinnamon. The finish is fruity with a sweet spice and pumpkin aftertaste. Decent overall.

750ml bottle, shared by Andrew. Bottled 20/08/12. Mostly clear orange golden color. Some particles in the body. Thin, kind of bubbly off-white head. Pumpkin aroma in the nose. Some musty, laundry aroma. Sweet taste, lightly spicy. Medium body. Lighter, kidn of soft carbonation. Lightly sticky. Pumpkin, spice, and wet laundry. Interesting, but I’m not really sure it works for me. Some appley, cidery type flavor. Interesting stuff, but a bit sweet. Hardly sour at all. Lambic only seems to contribute some mustiness, rather than any improvement to the flavor of your typical pumpkin beer.

Two year old corked bottle and served in my minime Karmeliet glass: Pours a clean deep golden hue with a fizzy head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, gram cracker, honey, cane sugar, oak, candied apple and some pils malts... okay this smells nice, not over the top with spices and missing that Lambic funk but actually very approachable. The taste is the same... moderately spicy, slightly fruity and not all that "lambic like" but strangely I am digging this for it had just the right amount of spice, right amount of sweetness, right amount of spiced apple fruitiness and just a hint of barnyard and best of all, very very quaffable.

Lightly sour and sweet. A wonderfully refreshing summer beer - sour apple juice, wood and quite a sweet aftertaste. Not very pumpkin-y. Decent.

750 ml from Binnys South Loop (Chicago, IL). Picked this up a long ways back. Finally popping it. Pours a nice amber orange hue, some decent glow, decent haziness overall. Lighter glow on the edges is sunny, a bit orange. A frothy small layer of whitish head atop dies to a filmy layer, laces ok. Sticks around as a small loose film. Aromas show a bit bland, some lemon, gentle fruit, pumpkin, and bread. Mellow lactic acidity, gentle yogurt and oak. A bit light overall, faint sweetness and spice. Initial is distinct, pumpkin meets some sweetness, gentle bread, faint caramel element. Gentle pumpkin sweetness starts to meet a distinct spice, lactic acidity into the middle. Some vanilla, bigger oak with gentle spice. Faint dark fruit into the middle, decent to lighter pie spice but distinct in this smaller beer, some cinnamon and nutmeg. Gentle lemon, lactic acidity. Some yogurt, oak, and sourness is mellow. A bit carmelized, roasted pumpkin feel into the backend. Gentle sweetness, pie spice, and oak. Firm vanilla, decent lactic feel. Mellow sourness aand tart fruit. Gets weird back here. Showing that distinct roasted pumpkin and squash, a bit carmelized. Decent to mellow sourness as we press on. Pie spice element kinda messes with me at times. Finish is that distinct sweetness, spice, and gentle sourness, funk. Firm oak meets pie spice, a bit of raisin dark fruit feel. Odd beer here. Nose is a bit deadened. Flavors are solid but this doesn’t necessarily work for me personally. Meh. Kinda reminds me of flat ginger ale at times.

Bottled 08/12. stored in a cellar horizontally. served at 60F in a lambic basket 2-ways. bronze / copper appearance. decent fast fading head. Nose is very much melons, gourd, some fake sugar syrup and honey. Taste is mildly tart, lots of metallic and copper notes. light sugary sweet caramel and pumpkin. Sort of weird, I’m pretty sure I overpaid for this.

Deep gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is malty black cherries and a little acidic. Black cherries and rich maltiness kick the light tartness. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

Bottle from hop city - pours clear orange with a white head. Aroma is funky with a pumpkin spice note. Taste is with a sour spritzer finish. Overall, I think it works, but there is room for growth here.

Bottle from Hop City. Pours orange with an inch of white foam. There’s a bit of spice on the nose. Lots of pumpkin on the tongue. Has a bit of tartness which fades as it warms. Finishes clean. Solid.
