Two traditions are brought together here in a unique complacency, namely an original succulence never tempted before. The result is sublime, liberating a graceful taste tinted by a controlled acidity on the lambic confused with the dry fruity of the pumpkin and the discreet sugar added. By crossing the middle of the mouth appears a taste of brown sugar remembering and accentuating the convivial touch of Halloween.

Another pumpkin beer that I was scared to try. But the pumpkin takes a back seat to the all spice notes. And the lambic style is really subdued as well. Nice. Easy to drink but more acid reflux causing than tart or sour. More pumpkin please.

Pours deep gold into a tumbler. White micro head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Apple and brown sugar aromas. Dry and thin with sweet cinnamon, apple and pumpkin front to back.

A golden sour ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice citrusy malt with light lactic notes, so far, smells like a Gueuze. In mouth, a sweet fruity sour taste, pumpkin spices, cloves cloves and cinnamon, watery bodied. OK.

Pours clear orange minimal head. Smell faint tart, bit of straw. Taste interesting corn sweetness, gourdy, bit of a sour kick on the tail. Lighter bodied, easy drinking. Pretty good.

Pours a clear copper color with no head. Aroma is spiced apple and sour pumpkin. The taste is thin spiced apple cider with cinnamon and a little bit of pumpkin pie spice. There’s a nice sour sweet thing going on here. Very light and a little watery but very enjoyable!

Burp Castle, NY tap: Pours brownish orange with little head. Aroma is Dr. Pepper, lambic yeast, and a hint of spice. Basically, this tastes like a slightly more beer-y version of Dr. Pepper. Pretty sweet. I didn’t really get much pumpkin spice or anything akin to that from this beer. Meh.

On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe, pours a dark murky orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out sweet pumpkin notes, pumpkin spices (nutmeg and cinnamon), and some sweetness. Flavour brings out pumpkin purée, pumpkin spices, as aforementioned, and vanilla. Not really any sweetness at all, which is contrary to what I expected. Doesn’t really strike me as a lambic, but just as a regular pumpkin beer. Solid in small quantities.

Draft. Pours clear light brown/gold with a thin white head. Tastes very light, like apple juice and cider. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Slightly sweet and slightly sour. Smells like fermented apples.

Poured from bottle. Pours a gold color with hints of orange. Typical thick head with champagne like carbonation. Head dissipates moderately quickly, but leaves lots of lacing. Aromas - earthy, barnyard, some spiciness. Tastes - surprisingly sweet with orange flavor along with pumpkin spices. Tangy and maybe a hint of lime. Sme typical lambic barnyard notes, but those are subdued underneath the other noted flavors.
