COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Two traditions are brought together here in a unique complacency, namely an original succulence never tempted before. The result is sublime, liberating a graceful taste tinted by a controlled acidity on the lambic confused with the dry fruity of the pumpkin and the discreet sugar added. By crossing the middle of the mouth appears a taste of brown sugar remembering and accentuating the convivial touch of Halloween.

Pours a slightly hazy orange, with a foamy head that disappears quickly. Aroma of pumpkin and refined sugar. The overwhelming sweetness leaves little room for anything else. Taste pretty much follows the aroma. An initial flavor of pumpkin is followed by the taste of orange soda--sweetness prevails. A hint of wild yeast at the end adds some funkiness to the aftertaste. Mouthfeel again echoes soda, syrupy and fizzy. In conclusion, a sweet lambic that is only mildly pumpkin flavored. Fair, but I’m not sure that I’ll seek this one out again.

750ml bottle pours dark clear amber orange with 1 finger head. Nose is subtle spice, clove, malty fruit and grain, "pumpkin", not really any lambic funk. Taste isn’t uneasant but is simple, a mildly tart spiced malty beer with decently well balanced, apple sauce, cinnamon, allspice, clove, nutmeg, etc. Sourness is medium-low. Finish is spices, touch of tart earthy orange fruit and grain. Bit of a novelty but fair enough.

[On tap] Clear deep dark amber with a fine head. Aroma. Very pleasing sweet. Spicy pumpkin with a load of banana. Flavor. a bit tart, Moderately spicy with a nice mix that is not the typical American pumpkin pie mix. A faint hint of vinegar hurts the rating. O. An unusual pumpkin ale worth trying.

Bottle at tasting. Lightly hazy gold pour with white head. Aroma is spicy, lots of cinnamon nutmeg, light funky notes. Taste is spicy, not very sour, sweet actually, nice pumpkin pie filling, much less gross than expected, actually quite drinkable.

Of all pumpkin beers I’ve had this is among the better ones to be sure. The lambic yeast does well to balance out the pumpkin aroma. There’s cool zing to this. Lively carbonation with a touch of grapefruit in finish along with light pumpkin. Tap at Khyber Pass.

bottle shared with friends. pours unclear bright golden with a nice white head, good retention and lacing. inoffensive aroma of sweet candi, belgian yeast, light acidity - lactic mostly, very little funk per say; nutmeg and cinnamon taste, some fruitiness, sweetness - brown sugar. average carbonation, light body, semi-sweet herbal-spicy finish. o-k.

Bottle 750ml. Pours amber with low white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of sugar, pumpkin pie spices. Taste is of water, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spices. Palate: Medium body. Soft carbonation. Overall: Not that bad. Just a tad watery. Spices not overdone. No serious pumpkin.

Bottle (750 ml). Slightly hazy golden/orange with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is of real pumpkin, not just spices... but there’s also spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) and brown sugar. There’s also some pumpkin in the taste along the usual nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar. Very light acidity too. Light body. Mild/moderate carbonation. Really not that bad for a pumpkin beer. The balance is decent. There’s just not much lambic traces in there.

Bottle shared by Julien, thanks! Pours a clear orange/copper with a small white rim for a head. Nose is of christmas spices and pumpkin meat, pretty close to its goal I guess. Taste is of brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and only lightly tart. Mouthfeel is watery and carbonation really high. Overall this was not great at all, but at least it was expected.

This poured a bright hazy orange with a white head. Aroma wasof lemon squeezed on pumpkin pie. Flavor was similar, sweet with mild acid, light funk and spice. Interesting.
