Two traditions are brought together here in a unique complacency, namely an original succulence never tempted before. The result is sublime, liberating a graceful taste tinted by a controlled acidity on the lambic confused with the dry fruity of the pumpkin and the discreet sugar added. By crossing the middle of the mouth appears a taste of brown sugar remembering and accentuating the convivial touch of Halloween.

Picked up a bottle at Rick’s in Alexandria. Served in a tumbler on Thanksgiving. Nose is somewhat acidic with quite a bit of spice. The flavor is overwhelming spice. Loads of pumpkin pie, and a bit cidery as well. Cider component really comes out as it warms, with the spice/cider combo making it taste like liquid Apple Jacks. Not a fan.

Sampled at ESBLS. I was curious about this one. Clear golden with plenty of bubbles rising. I taste sugar first followed by cinnamon and fruit. Only a little pumpkin but it increases. Interesting fruit and spices. This could be a Halloween Lambic.

Bottle: Clear, bubbled, coppery-gold with a faint ring. Aroma is a bit cidery, apple...yeast. Taste is sweet, not much pumpkin, more apple and brown sugar, really. Ok, but not very biting or sour.

Very tart but sweet, slightly weird mix. A very hazy beer with huge yeast particles and light carbonation. Not bad but not in a hurry to have again.

Not horrid I guess. Pumpkin colored with massive sediment particles. this was an old bottle. Vegetal, pumpkin, yeasty esters. Light bodied. What the heck for two bucks.

Bottle from Appellation Wines (it was the last one sorry!) Appearance - amber/orange with a nice fluffy head. Nose - funky, vegetal, savoury generally. Taste - pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon perhaps? Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet dry tangy texture and a dry finish. Overall - you start with a pumpkin with the intentions of making a beer. It’s a difficult order, so not the worst attempt.

Big bottle. Thanks to my m-law. Color is dark honey. Aroma is pumpkins, sour grapes and sugar. Lower carbonation. Light sourness. Sugary notes. Ok. It's a lambic and I don't think I'm a big fan of lambic beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
