Back to back with the raspberry. shared with bikesandbeer, bottle from K&B. Orangey pours with a pinkish tan head. The color is remiscent of oudbejite, a much better strawberry beer. Like the raspberry, the nose is like a strawberry jam. Taste is awful.

Strawberry Timmy has an appearance of strawberry-flavored lemonade. It looks nice. Now, letís give it a big ole sniff. Smells like a cross between gum, you know, that íJuicyí gum and a Jolly Rancher. It smells sweet. Being peddled in elegant glassware makes one want to drink this sugary treat with a pinkie up.
Overall? Eh, itís okay, you know, for a big cup of heart palpitating sweetness.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 ounce pour - $8.00 at Trappeze in Athens, Georgia.
Appearance: Served up an obscured, strawberry sherbet-hued body with a slim, fine, but persistent white head.
Smell: Sweet-smelling, strawberry-scented aroma. Candy or Kool-Aid springs to mind sooner than beer.
Taste: The sweet, saccharine taste of strawberry flavoring marked with a very, very small blip of acidity and little else. Any funk, any sourness is well hidden by the candyish qualities.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: I wouldnít exactly describe Timmermans craft as "haunting", itís just simple, sweet stuff, more akin to a malternative or even one of those Jones sodas.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Ledgers. I never expect a lot from John Martin, but upon opening strawberry wafted a foot to my nose. Pours medium tea color with a fomay off-white head. Aroma is strawberry with a hint of bubble gum. Med minus body; piquant carb. Itís not really sweet, and itís lightly tart. Such little funk as there is can be imagined when all the liquid goes away. Gotta say it is way better than expected, and though itís not very funky, I think it qualifies as lambic. Much better than some of those syrupy ones. The strawberry flavor pervades, but it is arguably subtle. Arguably.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
330cl bottle at the BevMo fest. Pours hazy reddish in color with a small pinkish white head. Smells like strawberry, more or less. A little sweet rather than sour or funky. The flavor is also sweet with just a slight tartness. I hear this wasnít sweetened - really? Sure seems like it. Strawberry dominates. Medium-bodied with high carbonation and only slight, slight acidity. Fine for what it is, but come on.

A very hazy and dirty pinkish color with not much head. Aroma is strawberries, and the taste is strawberries. Itís ok for a fruit lambic.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
11.2 oz. brown bottle. Golden brown, almost glowing orange small head. The aroma is like strawberry puree(boy arenít you surprised). The taste has strawberries and a slight tang to it. A lot of strawberries which I think is what they are going after. I do like this beer for its strawberryness( new word ending in -ness). This would go good after dinner paired with a strawberry dessert or mixed with a chocolate stout.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Tasted from a 330 mL bottle purchased in Denver, Colorado. Pours a light pinkish-red appearance. Aroma is overwhelmingly dominated by strawberry. Flavor is a bit sour but mostly just tastes like a strawberry soda. Not recommended.
