Draft at Bavarian Lodge (Lisle, IL). Pours a glowing orange hue with pink tinges, darker, but still with some glow on the edges. A frothy offwhite head stays as a thick ring clinger, laces ok. Aromas are straight strawberry. Sweetener, sugar, articifial strawberry soda/slurpee. Very sweet with a touch of malt body. Its powerful and sugary. Initial is heavier end of light bodied, blasts of strawberry syrup, sweet and sugary with some bread, touches of faint yeastiness, and sweet strawberry soda or slurpees. Very sweet, leaving a lingering distinct strawberry sweetness on the palate. Pretty powerful sweet beer that puts me into a bit of sugar shock. Finish is lingering sweet syrupy berry, sugar. Really sticks on the palate/aftertaste. A one trick sweet pony. Not my thing but my girlfriend loves it.

Pours a decent amber red with a nose of strawberry-infused chaumes cheese; nice b.o. and ass notes in there. Flavor is diluted strawberry and candy sugar. Sweet aftertaste. Thin on the tongue. Id rather eat chaumes cheese.

Bottle. Sweet fresh strawberry and sour malt aroma. Cloudy pink color with minimal head. Sweet fresh strawberry and lightly sour malt flavor. Nice body. Strawberry flavor is very nice - easy drinking if non-traditional beer.

Bottle from Peckhams, Guild Square, Aberdeen. Cloudy mauve colour, lively carbonation. Strong slightly sickly strawberry aroma. Strong strawberry flavour, sweet aftertaste. More like a fruit drink rather than a beer, but still not bad.

On tap at Hillsborough Hotel, pours reddish orange. Aroma of strawberries and artificial sweetener. Flavour is also of artificially sweet strawberries with a cloying fake sweetness. Too sweet, though drinkable in smaller quantities.

Cask @ Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield. Pours a cloudy dark orange/red. Aroma and taste very similar - that of artificial strawberries, overly sweetened. Sour and dry palate.

11.2 oz bottle into tulip. Pours a hazy orange with a medium pinkish-white head that collapses in a couple of minutes, leaving a blanket of foam and some lace. Smells very strongly of strawberry candy--those pink Starbursts come to mind; artificial? Also some faint grain in the nose. Taste is tangy-sweet and a bit salty. Its maybe a bit one-dimensional for a lambic, but it sure tastes good. Carbonation is medium-high, mouthfeel is creamy, body is medium. A tasty brew, but could use more depth.

Bottle. Hazy amber-pink beer with a pinkish head. Sweet malt and berry aroma with light tartness. Strawberry and tart flavor with light earth and sweet malt. Medium bodied. Strawberries and tartness lingers with sweet malt and light earth.

11.2 oz bottle drank from my Rodenbach tulip...Pours an ugly soggy strawberry daiquiri color with a light but frothy light pink head...The aroma is surprisingly good for a strawberry beer, very sweet fresh cut strawberries, very candish in the middle, no tartness. Sweet but decent...The taste is super sweet, tons of strawberries, sweet but not terrible, totally lacking in depth though. Not at all sour. This is very juice like. A light bitter finish. For strawberry beers its not bad, for a lambic is below average. Not at all sour, a great starter for someone not into beer at all.
