Hazy, orange brown. Small white head. Strong, sweet strawberry jam aroma. Flavour has more strawberry with a caramely, malty background. Fluffy mouthfeel, only slightly acidic. Sweet, semi sticky finish.

Tap at yard house. Hazy rose color with off white head. Aroma is strawberry. Taste is sweet strawberry with a tart finish. Very carbonated. Reminds me of a strawberry soda.

Meh. A waste of a bottle. I love fruit beers and fruit lambics, but the lack of carbonation in this beer made it feel like I was drinking flat strawberry juice. The lack of any "pop" when I pulled the cork off was a dead giveaway. Aroma was nice. Strawberry Starburst with not much else. Pour was a flat headless, bubbleless dark gold. Taste was nice and big with huge juicy strawberry flavors. The problem was it was completely flat. Not a hint of carbonation. With just a hint of bubbles this would be a good, if not basic, fruit beer.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/30/2012. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart strawberry, strawberry jam/candy, hay, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with big notes of sweet strawberries and some light yeast and earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of big lightly tart strawberry, strawberry jam/candy, hay, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. No bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of big strawberries, strawberry jam/candy, hay, straw, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice robustness of big sweet strawberry flavors with some light yeast and earthy hop notes; with minimal cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and slightly syrupy mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected for 4%. Overall this is a really solid standard fruit beer. Nice robustness of big strawberry flavors with light yeast, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. It really doesnít fit the Lambic style profile very well at all; but as a standard fruit beer it is quite enjoyable, as long as you donít mind the sweetness(which wasnít that bad in my opinion).

Aroma: strawberry juice, very refreshing. Taste: sour but sweet strawberries, very refreshing like orangeade. Low carbonation, poor head and average lacing.

"as advertised...strawberry and not a whole lot else. thereís a nice interplay between sweet and tart, but itís all strawberry. not subtle at all...if youíre a strawberry lover, this will be mothers milk."

Bottle, 33cL. A hazy earthy beer with a medium head ; poor retention. Strawberry syrup aroma. Medium sugary sweet, acid note. Light body, thin oily texture, fizzy carbonation, sweet finish. Overall, easy to drink, strawberry aroma, lambic ?!? Where are dryness and sourness ?

5oz on tap at Yard House Cincinnati. Mildly hazy orange pink color, like a sunset sort of hue. Thin off-white head. Leaves decent thicker lace. Awesome bigger strawberry aroma, plus whipped cream. Drinks like a strawberry shortcake. Moderate to bigger sweet taste. Very light tart, if any. Full body. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of soft. Lightly slick finish. A pretty nice strawberry ale, but as a lambic itís mediocre.
