Appearance: Cloudy orange brown color with thin white lace Aroma: Strawberry juice but a bit on the medicinal side Taste: Strawberry like champagne tart flavor with an aftertaste that’s a bit off as it tastes artificially sweet Overall: A decent lambic for the price but you get what you pay for. Not on the same level as a finer lambic.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2014 Ugh. No bueno. Mild strawberry aroma. It did have a nice head, but that’s about all that was good.

250ml bottle bought at Craftissmo in Tsim Sha Tsui East.

Cloudy, hazy pale ruby red colour with bits of very sticky yeast sediments; Less than one quarter finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Minimal lacing with near zero carbonation; Sweet and tart aroma of strawberry juice which can be smelt as soon as it was popped, with cherry, rhubarb, sugar, light sparkling wine, light funk and malt; Mid to strong sweet and tart taste of strawberry flesh and juice, with malt, canned cherry, lactic acid, sugar, light dry white wine, hint of funk, light yeast, faint tannic and lemon; Light body, watery palate; Taste profile is dominated by strawberry juice and flesh with canned cherry and light white wine in background. Sugary sweetness is moderate, and is well balanced by yoghurty lactic tartness. Good maltiness with testable light funk. Okay… Hoppiness is zero nose, quite strong lemon in taste. Faint tannic for bits of astringent semi finish. Slightly dry after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: Yes, the strawbeery juice and canned cherry seems artificial, but it has okay aroma in fruits and funk, well-combined sweet and tart taste. Quite well made, probably with easy going in mind, it’s just right decent and I wouldn’t mind drinking it again.

Cloudy brew with a sharp chemical flavor. Taste is strawberry, but not fresh - rather a very sugary substitute. Carbonation is weak and the whole brew a bit off.

Just god aweful...bright neon pink body with a cotton candy-colored hair. Saccharin, artificial strawberry, slight lemony sourness. Avoid!

Bottle. Golden beer with a small offwhite head. Strawberry aroma, sugary but with a feeling of real strawberries, caramel, some leather notes.sweet strawberry flavor, leather, sugar, citrus, some medicine. Decent but not more than that.

Tap pour - murky red/pink body with a thin whitish head. Aroma is sweet, berries, hint of funk, yeasty. Flavor is somewhere between a fruit beer and a lambic - very fruity, strawberry, yeasty funkiness, candied malt - very sweet forward. Palate was medium-high carbonation, but was an easy drinker. Wouldn’t fly to this one again, but it was a relatively enjoyable pour.
