3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rated on 5-13-2011. This bottled beer has a small beige head with a lengthy retention, no visible carbonation and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is sweet and strawberries. The taste is sweet, sour and strawberries. The mouthfeel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. The strawberry factor is not over the top in the flavor. It has a rather enjoyable flavor of strawberries and is somewhat refreshing.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
@ Hyde Park Wine and Spirits / Cincinnati OH --- Aroma of strawberry and malt. Cloudy dark orange amber with lots of floaters, head that drops slowly to a cover, streaks of lace. Taste is a combination of lambic and lager. There is malt, but there is also strawberry, which prevails in the end. No problem, except that in this case, the strawberry is like Smuckers Jam instead of tart/sour strawberry as one would find in a good lambic. Not a good example of the style.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
In glass is a pink beer with a regular head, and low carbonation. The aroma at first reveal the strawberry notes, but just a few seconds after you get a lot of unpleasant leather and barnyard notes, which make you change your point of view straight away.
The flavor actually lost the things which should prevail in a beer, like the malt and the hops, making it taste more like a cocktail than a proper beer. The aftertaste is soft and sweet. I think is a good try but for me is a little bit far from the right characteristics of a fruit beer.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Little taster at JoJo’s taphouse. Pink color, overpowering aroma of strawberries, but not a natural aroma a more synthetic aroma. Taste is more of that synthetic strawberry flavor. Slightly tart, very sweet. Not my type of lambic.
