3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20Through word-of-mouth I’m told Lambic is sour if you drink it soon after getting it, and sweet if you let it age a little. The only thing Timmermans Strawberry is going to be is sweet, as predicted. It claims to be the best Lambic there is. My experience is limited but when drinks go around claiming to be "the best" they usually mean "the most generic." Neither have I had a great experience with Lambic ales yet anyway, but the flavours here are like a flavoursome, organic fizzy pop with the 4% weight added. I don’t get much beer underneath the slightly clingy, slightly over-sweet strawberry flavour that lets you drink in larger gulps, but forces you to rest it a few minutes each time. I think it’s slightly more obvious in flavour than the Floris beers, and I’d personally approach it as a sunny-day fizzy pop than a beer, which doesn’t have to be a bad thing as it does have (good) flavour (as well as a bit of additive). It still worked on the night though, a rainy night after a frosty, foggy week. A lasting beverage.

Somewhere between a Fentimans soda and a plate of strawberries served with mild cheeses. Certainly not the funk farm you skunkheads prefer but enjoyable nonetheless.

I feel like I should like this more than I do. The beer was really sweet and tastes of bad cough syrup. One of my least favorites from Funk fest

Bottle. Great color. Pours a pale red color with a fluffy strawberry milk head. Aroma is sweet, tart, strawberry; not much else. Taste is strawberry and some bread, a hint of tart sourness. No lacing. Medium-high carbonation. Mouth feel is soda-like. Simple can be nice, but something about this seems cheaply made. Sweet and fun, but wildly underwhelming.

Draft. Pours hazy red/pink with little to no head. Strong aroma of strawberries. Strong strawberry flavor with a very sweet finish.

. Cloudy amber gold in colour with a thick white head; aroma of strawberry ice cream; rather artificial and sweet strawberry syrup flavour; some pleasant bitterness to finish.

This poured a cloudy light red color with a pinkish head. Aroma was of christmas strawberry candies. Flavor was the same and even more sweet than I was imagining.

Pours a reddish brown color and hazy. Moderate aroma of sweet strawberries and a light note of tartness. Tastes very similar to how it smells, a sweet strawberry jam-like quality. Light-bodied mouthfeel with light carbonation. Overall a bit too artificial tasting more my liking.

It has an amber dark orange appearance. It’s aroma is fruity, strawberry, and sweet. I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. Its overall flavor and taste is fizzy, cream soda, sweet, strawberry, and slightly carbonated.

Bottled. Poured cloudy peach with a nice cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet strawberry roll-ups and some seeds joined by a little citrus and barrel tartness.. just a touch of dank.. seemed too sugary, but it was aiight. The flavor found similar stuff.. lightly tart strawberry seeds and oak throughout, with wheat-like notes and meaty berries backing.. finished fairly dry and very quick, with a sweet kick right at the end. Lighter-bodied with low-ish carbonation on the palate.. not by any standard good for the style, but it was mighty drinkable.
