Bottle. The pour was a murky plum orange with an average sized (1-2 finger) light pink foamy head that reduced down to a large collar of foam with some really good sticky lacing. The aroma was all about the strawberries, with a little musty yeast and a hint of bubblegum. The taste was sweetly tart with a bit of maltiness and a strong strawberry presence throughout. It kind of reminds me of a “Sour Strawberry Jolly Rancher”. The flavor lasted a decent duration after the swallow being mostly of tart strawberries and not much else. Mouthfeel was light in body and slightly syrupy in texture with a very lively carbonation. Overall a very sweet and tart Lambic that was mildly refreshing. It’s a brew that would be great mixed with a good Imperial Stout...

"as advertised...strawberry and not a whole lot else. there’s a nice interplay between sweet and tart, but it’s all strawberry. not subtle at all...if you’re a strawberry lover, this will be mothers milk."

Bottle, 33cL. A hazy earthy beer with a medium head ; poor retention. Strawberry syrup aroma. Medium sugary sweet, acid note. Light body, thin oily texture, fizzy carbonation, sweet finish. Overall, easy to drink, strawberry aroma, lambic ?!? Where are dryness and sourness ?

5oz on tap at Yard House Cincinnati. Mildly hazy orange pink color, like a sunset sort of hue. Thin off-white head. Leaves decent thicker lace. Awesome bigger strawberry aroma, plus whipped cream. Drinks like a strawberry shortcake. Moderate to bigger sweet taste. Very light tart, if any. Full body. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of soft. Lightly slick finish. A pretty nice strawberry ale, but as a lambic it’s mediocre.

Bottle at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Pours a weird peachy colour. Hazy, bit of head. Strong strawberry aroma, bit rhubarby, bit herby. Taste is a tempered sweetness, persistent but not cloying. Fizzy palette. Hits the spot tonight.

(As Timmermas Strawberry Lambicus) Bottle 250 ml at home, poured into a tulip, ABV 4% Deep red colour on the body, a bit hazy, with a pinkish tall head on top, thin, but with good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma of strawberry marmalade, candy sugar. Taste also of strawberry marmalade, but also a mix of fresh and ripe strawberries, with candy sugar and bubblegum on the finish. Medium thin body, high carbonation. Drinkable.
