COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There is no other beer like Timmermans Tradition Blanche Lambicus anywhere in the world because it is the only white lambic beer. By adding spices such as coriander and dried orange zest, a light, fruity beer is created. It is subtly spicy and deliberately made cloudy. Should ideally be drunk from an authentic stoneware pot.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, wheat, lemon zest, spice and lactic notes. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of wheat, straw, citrus, yeast, spice and a hint of butter with a crisp dry tart finish.

Bottle at WoSF 2014. Clear pale white pour with white head. Aroma of coriander, quite spicy, light wheaty graininess, a bit too spicy. Taste is spicy, very light lambic character, grainy, very light tartness. Palate is light, dry, soft carbonation. Unfortunately a bit bland, otherwise very easy drinking.

Bottle (375 ml) @ WE of Spontaneous Fermentation 2014. Clear pale yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is lemony with coriane and acidity from the wheat. Taste is also lemony with a nice acidic touch and coriander. Light body. Cola-like carbonation. The lemony aspect and the acidic presence are quite refreshing/quenching. Tasty beer. The coriander isn’t overwhelming.

Aroma: Coriander, horse blanket, leather, wheat, light pepper, Appearance: Hazy straw body. Small thin white head. Lacing. Flavour: Orange zest, coriander, tart, orange, Palate: Medium-light body. High carbonation. Overall: WOW! The first lambic that I will happily drink liters of! Definite white beer flavours with higher tartness/sourness and subtle, yet complimentary lambic flavours and aromas. 375ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! 16A. Witbier

Shady straw yellow. Dense, almost creamy white top. Grainy and lemon-fruity nose with a yoghurty twist. Quite light in body. Sappy sourish lemon flavor. Notes af doughy and grainy malts. Candy-fruity sweetness underneath. A strange one. Drinks ok, but not quite there. [Draft at Schouskjelleren, 20.01.14]

Small white head. Hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Sugary-acidic cider and wood aroma with mealy strawy yoghurt notes. Sweet-acidic earthy plastic taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish candy and flour aftertaste with wooden fruity notes. Interesting and quite nice. Drinkable. (0.25l draft at Schouskjelleren, Oslo.)

Bottle from Giant Eagle on advertised sale (so I thought it would be fresh...not). Clear gold with no head or lace. I stirred it up to try to make it cloudy and got big chunks instead. Sweet mild funky melony aroma. Very sweet fruity funky tropical fruit and fake sugar with mild spicy finish and lingering sugary cloy. Nine bucks down the drain.

Bottle at home. Pale gold with a medium white head. Interesting beer. Quite a different aroma than what I’ve had recently, fruity and a little sour. Flavour has a big fuck off dob of lemon sherbert, banana, finish is a little dry, a little sweet and a little sour. I liked it.

375mL corked & caged bottle BB 20/09/14 Pours a slightly hazy orange body, with a big fluffy white head - no as over-zealously excitable as you’re average lambic mind. Roused up a bit of chunky yeasty(I hope!?) bits on the 2nd pour - can’t hurt. Certainly has lambic elements to the nose; natural yoghurt, cheese, dusty hay, citrus rind, with subtle earthy spice, freshly crushed coriander seed & dried orange peel. Carbonation is somewhat restrained, comparatively. Light bodied, nice refreshing citric acidity, off-dry in style, which gives the texture some weight. Some white sugary sweetness upfront tends to give flavours a different edge, as opposed to a drier style. Tends to lean towards more creamy cheese and sweetened yoghurt character, orange & lemon juice, light cereal wheat, subtle earthy spice. Remains spicy on the finish, low bitterness, acidity kicks in to create a dry finish. Quite enjoyable. Certainly a change from the bracing acidity of a full-blown Lambic, but obviously lacks the finesse and complexity - like the idea though, blend of unique Belgian styles.

On tap at Schouskjelleren, december 26th 2013. Clear ligh golden body with a tiny white head. Funky aroma with lemon, spice and hay, taste is slightly sour, mildened by a sweet artificial fruit taste, with notes of straw and grass. Refreshing finish, although overall I believe I’d be in favour of a less sweet version.
