There is no other beer like Timmermans Tradition Blanche Lambicus anywhere in the world because it is the only white lambic beer. By adding spices such as coriander and dried orange zest, a light, fruity beer is created. It is subtly spicy and deliberately made cloudy. Should ideally be drunk from an authentic stoneware pot.

Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a hazy gold with thin white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; like a good wit (wheaty with orange notes), only with more citrus (lemon rind) and a touch of funk. Good on the palate with a nice, dry finish. This one exceeded my expectations.

Clear, pale strawish gold. Smell is light yogurt, metal, lemon. Flavor is spicy, almost savory, tartness is there. Lots of corriander, lemongrass, and ginger in this one.

Bottle 37,5 cl, BBE 20.9.2014. Pours hazy pale golden with a small whitish head. Citrus, forrest berries and light funk in aroma. Light tartness, some citrus and notes of wheat in taste. Rather dry. Sweet wheat is strongly present in aftertaste. As said, the wheat is there, but the chewyness is not that apparent. A mix between witbier without the spicyness and lambic for sure. This is something to drink in the summertime. Slightly sweet and tart lemony finish.

750 ml corked and caged bottle. Bottled on 5/30/12. Pours witbier pale yellow with a small white collapsing head that leaves a skiff of foam. Aroma is funky like a lambic (why is this in the witbier category again?), with horseblanket and pungent vinegar pretty strong. Taste is mostly sour and acidic with a sweet edge. Has more in common with a lambic or a plain old sour--other than the appearance, this bears little to no resemblance to any witbier Iíve ever had. Tastes good, whatever it is.

27 feb 2013, tap. Pale yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is tart lemon, cobwebs. Thin body and faintly fizzy. Slightly tart, lemon (lightly sweet). Nose promises a decent sour but it didnít get delivered.

4oz pour at Maxís Belgian Fest. Pours a totally clear gold with one ring of white head. Smells like light apple juice, lemon. Flavor is the same, lightly bitter, clean fruit, apple, light apricot, lemon. Nice, sweet, medium bodied, slightly tart finish. Very drinkable. I was pleased.
