Hazy pale yellow, almosy grey. Small white head.Aroma is yeasty and brings sourish fruits like grapefruit and cirtus, but also some vanilla. Flavor is really sour with loads of grapefruit. Vinous and with a quite mild finish. This is the first time I could kinda enjoy a gueze.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mustang3 (254) - Whitby, CANADA - JUN 4, 2004
A very different wheat beer. Golden, but not hazy. Smells like a wheat beer, but different. In the flavour I got coriander and pear. I really liked this, an interesting change from traditional wits.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BBB63 (5406) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - MAY 21, 2004
Hazed deep golden hue with initial fizzy head which faded and no lace. The aroma hints of the traditional lambic tart and sour notes; barnyard yeast, but also picked up some honey, bitter and floral hops, light spices. The taste is sour and wheaty at the same time, how cool! Additional lingering bitterness, lemon, and spice makes this one unique beer. The mouthfeel is fizzy and very refreshing. I must say that it is truly nice to find something you really like and that surprises you, the hybrid did the trick, A great summertime brew.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Oakes (10941) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - MAY 17, 2004
Hazy golden colour. Lemony, wheaty aroma. Slightly tart, but then sugary, with lambic notes. All right as a beer, but lousy as a lambic.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jercraigs (6477) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 16, 2004
Hazy yellow body with not much in the way of head on it. Light and refreshing with just a bit of sour lambic bite to it. Nice But on the bland side. Thanks for sharing this one jgb9348.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 SilkTork (4898) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - MAY 10, 2004
Bottle. This is a lambic, but I’m not sure which style. It’s blended with a spiced wheat beer, and there’s a gentle sweetness, so I’m assuming Faro or Geueze fits better than Belgian Wheat. It’s actually very light and refreshing with lemon zest and gentle spices. There’s a pleasant sharp lambic edge, and the whole thing finishes pleasantly dry. Tasty and impressive. I’ll have this one again.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jeppe (2631) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - APR 30, 2004
Pours a hazy yellow body with a fine white head. Aroma is sour citrusy and yeasty. Flavor is sweet but with a nice underlying sourness. Fruit, lemon and yeast. A nice and refreshing beer but the fact that it was more than a year over the expiration date has probably influenced the freshness, it did taste a little over the top!

Yeast and citrus aroma, hazy golden small head. Fairly light flavoured fruit, light bodied too, tangy, tart and sour. Refreshing!
