4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUN 15, 2009 Aroma is serious lemon, a bit sweet and if you serch long enough some geuze stink. Taste is similar very light but too sweet to be good. RERATE: On draft in the rake. Numerous samples. Alright fair do’s this is not straight lambic and fair enough its sweetened, but may god its soo much massivly better draft than bottled. Lambic sourness, acidic lemon, bit of sherbert from the wheaty sweetness, sharp, massivly drinkable, like i did a pint in 5 mins and really wanted more but had to head home. Really suprised and will be loking to get it in again on draft.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Light yellow, almost clear beer with some floaties and a small white head. Citric and lemony nose with some medicine and metal. Lots of lemon in the flavor, with a good deal of sugar as well. Almost sodapop-like. Sweet, lightly astringent and soapy mouthfeel. Very lemony finish with some hints of hops. Strange brew. (060810)

Bottle. Poured with a small head that grew somewhat in the glass. Very light, with mostly bitter apple taste. Clean, easy to drink. I liked this one very much. Nice and refreshing.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Slightly hazy, very pale straw coloured body with an average white head. Some citrus notes on the aroma. Taste is drinkable, light in body, some sweetness hanging around after swallowing but it is pretty lacklustre. Just doesn’t seem to know what style of beer it wants to be.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle (from Bitter Virtue, BBE Aug 07). Some citrus, slight spice and vegtable water. Really quite sweet despite the light tartness. Some fruitiness which combined with the almost artificial sweetness creates a bad impression. I couldnt really find much of the lambic about this but even then its one f’ed up wit.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
I got this bottle at a Geuze and Lambic festival in Lennik, Belgium. It pours a very bright golden yellow with a tall bright white fizzy head. Bubble in the head stick together very well but leave almost no lacing. The smell is very interesting, woody, apple yeast and a little dust. I expected it to be very dry. The initial taste is sweet, full of apples and sticky yeast, but finishes with a mild sour bite that is very dry and short lived. Definitely had faro characteristics, with slight lambic undertones. Great summer beer on a warm day.
