Thanks to rcasta who brought it all the way from Porto, Portugal. Pours ruby red, very fizzy with no head. Well balanced between fruit (not too sweet), but also a night tartness at the end.

Appearance: Ruby red. Quite a lot of head. Aroma: Just cherry, very much so. Taste: Very cherry, very sweet. Not quenching at all. Surprisingly nice. Info: 250ml bottle, 12/3-2007, 159/500

Dark red with a pink head. The aroma has notes of marzipan and almonds. The flavour has sweetness and loads of marzipan, almonds, cherries and a light tartness. It’s highly uncomplicated, charming and easy to drink. Mine is only 4% ABV.

Bottle (330ml), 4%. Poured deep ruby with a rocky, pink head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of cherry sherbet with dr. pepper-like medicinal notes and glazed cherries. Flavor was some what medicinal with some tart cherries, cherry flavored sweets and a lightly sourish finish. Light bodied with lively carbonation, a dry/tart mouthfeel syrupy texture and a good finish.
