Ramenen (305), San Salvador, El Salvador Jul 13, 2008 Thanks to rcasta who brought it all the way from Porto, Portugal. Pours ruby red, very fizzy with no head. Well balanced between fruit (not too sweet), but also a night tartness at the end. rcasta (232), El Salvador Jul 12, 2008 desde porto para el salvador.

Info: 250ml bottle, 12/3-2007, 159/500 Maria (3788), Thisted, Denmark Jun 7, 2008 Dark red with a pink head. The aroma has notes of marzipan and almonds. The flavour has sweetness and loads of marzipan, almonds, cherries and a light tartness. It’s highly uncomplicated, charming and easy to drink. Mine is only 4% ABV. MBison (346), Southern Highlands, Australia Jun 2, 2008 Updated: Jun 10, 2008Bottle (330ml), 4%. Poured deep ruby with a rocky, pink head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of cherry sherbet with dr. pepper-like medicinal notes and glazed cherries. Flavor was some what medicinal with some tart cherries, cherry flavored sweets and a lightly sourish finish. Light bodied with lively carbonation, a dry/tart mouthfeel syrupy texture and a good finish.
