Jul 2, 2005 A red beer with a fine though disappearing pink head. The aroma is very powerful of marzipan, cherries, and coriander. The flavor is very sweet and very powerful marzipan, but also with hints of cherries and wood - but no acidity what so ever. It is a shame to call this for a kriek.

A deep red beer with a light pink head. The aroma is sweet with notes of cherries - quite artificial. The flavor is very artificial: sweet with notes of cherries, almond, marcipan, and cherry.

Feb 20, 2004 Bottled. Deep red with creamy head. Sweet with only a light hint of acidity. Syrupy cherry flavour. Just sweet. All complexity killed. It's not really bad, but it's very commercial, and more like a alcopop than a real kriek.

Jul 9, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) 5% ABV in my version. Medium red with a pinkish head. Very pronounced cherry flavour and not overly sweet - the lambic tartness levels things out. Unfortunately this has an artificial, chlorinated tang which thankfully fades as the beer warms. 110998

Jan 20, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours hazy red with a dense pink head. Quite candy sweet berry aroma. Flavour is cherry vanilla artificial sweet towards a slight citric note. Ends with cherry dry note.
