3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask, Hesketh Golf Club with Brad..The first one of these didnít touch the sides after a mean 18 in the sizling late summer sun. Standard golden colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Nose revealed some grassy hop, citrus and malt notes. Flavour had a malty spine with some fruity character and restrained yet well placed hoppage. Definitely one of the better beers out there at this strength. Straightforward and tidy thirst quencher that is pretty dang moreish. Fore !

5 Very little aroma, just some light malts
3 Rich gold, small head
6 Simple malty taste.
3 Soft palate, carbonation low. Finish a little almondy
13 Improves as you drink it, the malts fill out, and the hops become more nutty.

Not a hugely interesting or satisfying ale but I has a lovely smooth texture and a long malt finish that is quite delicious.
