50 cL bottle. Pours clear golden orange and with a diminished white head. Grainy and slight cardboardish to slight tobacco aroma. Flavour holds a nice chocolate smoothness, a mild bitterness and a somewhat herbal malt flavour. Finish holds a solid malt flavour, nicely roasted and with little bitterness.

Bottle at home ... crisp golden orange ... light citric floral hop land a little caramel malt in nose ... soft light malt fruit front followed by orangy juicy hoppiness. but the hoppy linger is bit to drying for me.

Bottle from The Offie, Leicester. Golden with an off-white foam. Aromas very fruity with pear. Some caramel malts with earthy hops. Flavours are fruity and hoppy. Hints of dried apricots with caramel and biscuit malts. Nice spicy addictive hops on the finish. A good bottled beer.

Bottle bought from a speciality off licence and not seen in local supermarkets. This is a pity as it is an excellent beer, with a bitter finnish that turns dry.Poured with a big head and was an all round pleasant drink. Much superior to a lot of the dross found on supermarker stores and well worth searching out.

Golden with a nice head and a fruity, hoppy aroma with hints of caramel. The flavour is smooth and has a nice mellowness from the oats, and it has notes of fruit and caramel. The finish has a nice and becoming bitterness and it’s a nice beer.
