Dark-gold beer with a thick, frothy head. Light aroma of caramel and toasty malt. Flavour is an initial tangy-sweet hit. Quite dry and bitter in the finish. Quite drinkable.

Dark Bottle. Pours medium amber, smells musky and with hints of caramel. No head. Taste is fantastic to match aroma - musky and malty. Great.

500ml bottle pours a pale brown color without much head. Nice mild hop bitterness that is smooth through the whole taste.

This was advertised as a pale ale and I think thats accurate. Very good aroma and balance between hops and malt. The surprising part is the buttery texture of the beer, close to a good Pilsner. Very good.

Bottle: clear, straw, medium head and good lace. Dull, yeasty, funky, aroma, malt and citrus. Dry, not sour but moderately bitter. Lacks depth of flavor. Very good commercial beer or weak craft beer. This bottle might be stale.

Light amber with a cm of moderate-coarseness tan head that fades moderate-to-moderate-slow. Aroma of biscuit, some raw sugar, touch of banana (slightly caramelized), wet grasses and hint of mineral content and moist pastry. Body is watery with hint of oil, medium-light-to-light weight, moderate carbonation, somewhat creamy, moderate burn. Flavor is biscuit, touch of grain, hint of banana, grassy herbal finish, refreshing bitterness with that revisits on the exhale, just a hint of astringency in it. Relatively weak flavor profile compared to the aroma and to bigger beers. Overall, a yummy bitter! I love the subtle banana notes (but wish the bitterness was just a bit softer.)

A deserved benchmark of the style (English Pale Ale). The aroma and flavour are significantly better than could reasonably be expected given the strength.

Caramel, dry hop in the nose. Copper brown with white head. Tea notes in the taste, blended with caramel and toffee. A bit of roastinnes. Like any British beer pretty drinkable.

Im excited to up my top 50 Bitter count to a whopping 2 with this one. Its just sorta there, though. Mostly a sweet honey maltiness with a lively carbonation. Smell slightly skunked hops, a touch flowery. Kinda what I imagine when I think "bitter" except carbonated and a bit less hoppy than Id like.

Visual: Pours clear medium orange with a decent creamy head, a small layer of retention, sticky lacing, several clustered fast streams. Nose: hops, sweet toffee malts (lvl-6)-pungency Attack: smooth, light fizzy, soft crispness Mid-palate: (lvl-4)-sweetness, (MAIN) toffee, light roast, clean grainy barley malt, grassy, orange, light metallic Finish: mild citrus-soft bitter hops, lingering bitter hopped finish. Summary: A clean, easy-going, sippable yet well-bodied brew. Not outstanding but decent.
