2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Boring - no impact - low malt (which I prefer) but no hit of hops to perk it up - watery and kinda tasteless. English bitter. Meh.

Shared 16.9 oz. bottle. Pours a clear deep gold with a white head. Aroma of light caramel, grass, and malt with similar taste. Mildly bitter and mildly sweet. Very nice balance. Easy drinking.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: a little yeasty and fruity; slightly reminiscent of a lager; Appearance: clear amber with decent head that dissipates quickly; Taste: like a bitter lager, clean, fairly refreshing -- but not much personality; kind of watery Palate: medium-light body with medium bitter finish; Overall: smooth and drinkable but nothing special. Would buy again if priced well and needed something light.

honey dancing velvet cascade of nectar soars past wisp of foam. Touch of bitterness in flavour balanced by sweetness. Good mouthfeel. Sweetness gets a bit much by end of bottle though.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a strongly carbonated transparent dark orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was musty and mild wheat. The thick mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of bitter mild rye mild wheat and bread dough. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Doesn’t assault the palate the way some of my favorite beers do, but the quality of the craft here-beginning with the selection of ingredients-makes this a special beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle from Sainsburys, as part of my phase of revisiting classic English ales. Pours amber. Nice peppery hops, light earthy malts. Standard old school pale, but rather uninspiring.
