Boring - no impact - low malt (which I prefer) but no hit of hops to perk it up - watery and kinda tasteless. English bitter. Meh.

Classic British pale ale - bitter. Gorgeous to watch, crystal clear amber with white lasting head. Malty and hoppy aroma. Taste is smoothly malty, sweet malts, caramel and some bitterness from the hops. However is not hoppy as the American Pale Ales. Still, a good classic bitter!

Amber colour, thick white head that lasts a fair while. Fresh, fruity smell, if I were to say which fruit it’d be apples. The taste is sweet with fruity notes and a bitter finish. I’d say it’s an easy-drinking beer compared to some pale ales I’ve had. Medium-bodied and mildly aromatic. Smooth mouthfeel, maybe a bit watery. Overall nice beer, nothing stands out as amazing about it but definitely nothing bad at all either. I’d definatley have it again.

500ml bottle pours mid amber with a beautiful white head that shows decent retention. It smells fresh as a daisy, bright and slightly fruity, bit of grass. There’s a bit of fruit on the taste and some sweet caramel and a metallic note. Really soft mouthfeel but a bit thin and watery, carbonation is bang on. Decent bitter finish This may be a technically great beer and it tastes fine, it’s just not that exciting to me.

A more traditional style of pale ale (as opposed to the New World styles). The hops are piquant, spicy, grassy with a touch of lemon at the edges. Very well balanced with more flavour than I expected from a mere 4.1%

Classic amber pale ale colour steady tight head. Aroma of malt and fruity taste to follow with nice dry bitter finish to balance the sweet and slight fruity flavour.

Bottle 500 cl. Pours orange/amber body with small head. Aroma of fruits with some red apples. Sweetish taste with mostly pear and sweet apples. Quite distinctive taste. Rally worth the money!

Sample at bjcp course. Amber with low head retention. Plum, fruit caramel, honey, dough nose. Toffee, biscuit, some marmalade, cereal aftertaste. Medium bodied. Nice example of style.

Attractive deep golden with long lasting foamy head and soft carbonation. Pleasant plummy, fruity nose. Medium sweet biscuity taste with plum, caramel, lemon and grass. Gently bitter finish. Slips down very smoothly. Very nice beer, would love it to have a bit more kick in the finish.

Bottle. Dark golden colored with a small smooth head. The aroma is light fruity with notes of citrus and orange along with some doughy malt in the back. The malt brings some light sweetness into the taste which, however, is strongly dominated by bitterness. The body is light to medium and the Landlord has a strong bitter finish.
