Boring - no impact - low malt (which I prefer) but no hit of hops to perk it up - watery and kinda tasteless. English bitter. Meh.

Light but attractive hop aroma . Attractive amber colour and a good robust foam . Taste is clean with a nice amount of bitterness and hoppiness , the malt element is equally clean but not as layered as I had hoped for (reading the label) Still, at just over 4% ABV its very pleasant -would love to try the cask!

ryecatcher (1304) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2016
500mL bottle. Pours an ever so slightly hazy, deep golden color, big rocky white head with unbelievable retention and lace. Nose is bready malt, minerals, faint skunk (which kind of fades as it opens up) Mouth is medium bodied, malt forward, mild sweetness with a decent balancing bitterness, grass, malt, toast. Not the best bitter I’ve had, but decent. I’d prefer to have this in Blighty, from a cask, which is likely a completely different experience.

Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear amber, medium white head. Bready malt, fruity notes, floral hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Semi dry to dry, medium bitterness.

(Bottle) Pours slightly hazy golden amber with big dense white head. Pleasant subtle fresh hoppy aroma - hints of grass, tea, seaweed and citrus. Light bodied with plentiful pleasant carbonation. Well balanced taste with soft malt at the start and hops coming in over the top. The cask version of this was one of my favorite beers when I lived in England. Don’t think I tried the bottled version. Very drinkable.

Bottle bought from the local coop. What you would expect from a commercial bottled beer. Simple taste that fails to stand out. Very drinkable though and can imagine drinking a few bottles quite easily.

nybol (1360) - DENMARK - APR 24, 2016
