Cask at Dog & Gun Inn, Oxenhope. Clear amber colour with a nice white head. Citrus, dry fruits and malty aroma. Taste is bittersweet with biscuit and hoppy notes. Overall, nice beer.

Cask at The Mitre, Manchester. A clear amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel, some toasted malts, slight biscuit and subtle earthy hops. Taste of toasted malts, some biscuit, slight caramel, a little yeast and subtle earthy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, toasted malt bitterness in the finish. A basic, safe bitter. Nothing wrong with it, just better beers out there.

Cask @ The Three Fishes, Shrewsbury. Pours clear amber. Aroma is light, bready. Taste is perfectly fine, slightly bready, creamy. Inoffensive cask ale that doesn’t quite hit the high notes by modern standards.
