One of my all time favourite beers, sadly missed. Poured a lovely dark with a thick off white head and a lovely sweet, honey-ish malt nose. Medium body, flavour of soft, slightly caramel malt and a long, satisfying finish.

Cask. Rarely seen nowadays and may only be brewed to order. Very dark, almost black with the usual tan head. Pleasant fruity aroma and taste with an initial treacly-sweet impact balanced by a subtly hoppy dry finish. If you see it, give it a go.
